Chapter 3

“Hahaha. Do you miss your friend that much?” Draco’s voice sounded loud over the phone.

“Why are you with Sapphire’s phone?” Clyde asked. He could tell who was talking just from his voice, he’s been threatened with a gun by that guy.

“Funny question. Since you were the one who led me to her.” Draco chuckled.

“I led you to no one. Where is Sapphire?” Clyde asked. 

“She’s in my custody. If you wanna save her, convince her to work for me.” Draco said.

“Why would want to work for you?”

“Because I’m the boss. Convince her or she’ll remain in my custody until she agrees to work for me.” Draco said sarcastically.

“You let her go or I.....”

“Are you threatening me?”

“Let her go. Take me instead.”

“But you’re not the computer genius are you?” 

“Please let her go. I’ll convince her.”

“You can come see her tomorrow alone. Any word about this to the police and she’s dead. I don’t have tell you…..”

“I know.”

“Good. We have a deal.” Draco said and hugged up.

Clyde sat on the floor weakly when the call ended and Giulia caressed his shoulders.

“What’s wrong baby?” Giulia asked.

“She’s been kidnapped.”

“What? How?” 

“I don’t know. I have to go find her.” He said and tried to stand up but she held him down.

“Stay. If she’s been kidnapped, inform the cops.

“I can’t. It would only make things worse. He’s someone with huge connections to the police.”

“Clyde don’t leave me. You always leave me for her. I’m your girlfriend.” She cried.

“If I don’t find her, do you think you’ll still have the luxuries you have now?! She’s the reason we have all this, she’s the brain and I’m the action. I need her to make money!” He yelled and she flinched.

“Fine! Do what you want! I’m out of here anyway. Go find her. And you’d better find her in two days and bring her back. If you don’t you’ll find another brain or we’ll end.” She said and wore her gown quickly.

“I’m sorry Giulia. I didn’t mean to yell at you.”

“Keep your sorry ass to yourself.” She said and left.

“Fuck!” Clyde cursed.

Draco dropped the phone on the desk close to Sapphire. He had ordered his men to keep her in a room in his quarters. He normally kept people he captured in his dungeons but she was a different case. He couldn’t put her there.

“Why don’t you just throw me in your dungeon or something?” She scoffed.

“I need you to work for me not warm my dungeon.” He said coldly.

“He’s not going to come.” She muttered.

“Who? Your partner?”

“He’s not going to come. He knows it’s a waste of time. He knows I won’t work for a killer like you.”

“Like me?” Draco chuckled. 

“I will never work for you. I’m a private contractor, I have the right to reject a client.”

“So is that what you’re doing? Rejecting me?”

“Yes.”

“Well we’ll see about that when your friend comes tomorrow.” He said and turned to leave.

“He won’t come.” Sapphire whispered but his ears caught her words.

“What? You’re his partner. Why won’t he come?” He asked and she chuckled.

“He has this crazy girlfriend who hates me for no reason.” She scoffed.

“I see. Let’s see if he wouldn’t come see you tomorrow.” Draco said and left with his phone.  

“Fuck!” She cursed as she lay on the bed. It was surprisingly comfortable.

Back in Draco’s room, Derrick walked in holding his gun in his left hand.

“Heard you brought a chick in.” Derrick said.

“She’s not a chick. She’s the best computer freak in Italy.” Draco said.

“You want to use her to get into Pietro’s estate?”

“Yes.”

“Are you sure that’s the only reason?” Derrick smirked.

“Yes. Why else would I bring her?”

“I don’t know. It’s been years since I saw you with a woman, so I was wondering….”

“Well stop wondering.” Draco scoffed.

“It’s been eight years, brother. If you don’t want to find love, find a good woman to keep you warm at least.” Derrick said and he chuckled.

“Look who’s talking about love. Do you love Knife?”

“No. She’s a whore. She’s just my bed warmer. I haven’t found love yet but when I find it, I’ll surely know.” Derrick smiled.

“I’ll take your word for it.” Draco said and he chuckled.

“Believe me, I’ll know.” He smiled.

The next day, Clyde was getting ready to go the address Draco texted him when Giulia walked into his apartment unannounced. 

“What are you doing here?” He asked.

“Can’t I visit my boyfriend’s house anymore?” She scoffed.

“I didn’t mean it that way. I just…” He sighed. 

“I’m just worried.” He continued.

“About who? Sapphire?” She asked jealously.

“Yes. I don’t how I’m going to convince her.” He sighed.

“You’re going to meet her? I’m coming with you.”

“No! He said I should come alone. You can’t come with me.” He said.

“I don’t care. I’m coming with you.” She said and picked her purse which she had dropped earlier.

When Clyde could no longer persuade her to stay behind, he hesitantly went with her.

“It’s a motel.” Giulia whispered when they got to the address Draco directed them to. 

“Just don’t say anything when we go in, please.” He said with pleading eyes and she nodded.

….

“Well seems calvary came to the rescue with his girlfriend.” Draco said as he watched them from the room opposite the garage. 

“What?” Sapphire asked surprised.

“Let’s hope he can keep her quiet.” Draco muttered.

Clyde entered the room with Giulia who kept clinging to him. She held him tighter when she saw the men with the guns.

“Clyde Salvatore, pleasure to meet you.” Draco said with a huge smirk. He had his back turned on him so they couldn’t see his face.

“Sapphire.” Clyde muttered when he saw her sitting on a couch. Her hands weren’t tied, she doesn’t look one who was kidnapped but he knew well enough that it was a trick. Even if she wasn’t bound, trying to escape would mean the end of her life.

“Hey Clyde.” Sapphire said before glaring hatefully at Giulia who was with him. 

“Go on. Talk to her and don’t try anything stupid.” Draco said.

“Let me talk to her myself, baby.” Giulia said and Clyde said.

“Let’s leave the ladies alone.” Draco ordered all his men out including Clyde but he stayed in. 

“What do you think you’re doing?” Sapphire asked.

“Making sure Clyde doesn’t talk to you.” Giulia smirked.

“What do you want Giulia?” 

“I need to do whatever he wants and save Clyde this whole trouble.” 

“You want me to work…………”

“Yes. Do whatever he wants you want to do and save my boyfriend the trouble of coming to see you here again.”

“Is that what you came here to say? Is that why you came with Clyde?”

“Did you want him to come alone so you could seduce him? No way! You’d better do what he wants or I’ll find another partner for Clyde. He’s my boyfriend after all.”

“And no one’s trying to take him from you. You’re self centered. I hope Clyde doesn’t realize what a damage you are to him too late.” Sapphire said pissed off.

“Oh come on Sapphire, just do what the guy asked.”

“You know what, gorilla? Find another partner for Clyde. Don’t ever show your face here, I’ll rather stay with an asshole who kidnapped me even if I’m not going to work for him than spend another second with you.” Sapphire yelled. 

“Well I’ve always known you were a bitch.” Giulia said and stood up. “I know what Clyde means to you, I know how long you two have been together and I’m going to make sure that you never get to see him ever again.” She whispered. 

“You can hide him in a shelf, I don’t care. I’m done caring.” Sapphire scoffed. “I’m done talking to her. Take me back.” Sapphire said to Draco. 

He said something to his men through his earpiece and he turned to face them. Giulia’s mouth was wide open when she was his face.

“Is he even human? Gosh Sapphire’s going to see this beautiful face everyday. Only his face makes me wet.” Giulia said within herself.

“Sapphire please work for him. You know Clyde needs the money and if you’re gone, where would he get money from?” Giulia said pretentiously trying to Get Draco’s attention.

“Find him another partner.” Sapphire said and Draco took her out through the back door.

Few minutes later, Clyde came in alone and Giulia feigned tears.

“What happened?” Clyde asked concerned.

“I hate her. I tried to talk to her and she slut shamed me. I’ve always told you she’s not a good person. How are we not sure if she planned all this with him?” She cried.

“She didn’t. Where is she?” Clyde asked.

“Is that what you’re worried about?” She asked and he nodded.

“He took her out through the back. I guess he’s taking her back to his empire. You don’t have to worry, I’ve talked to her and she promised to do whatever he wants so she could get out of here on time.” She lied.

“Really? Okay.” Clyde said excitedly. “Let’s go then.”

“Yeah let’s go.” She smiled widely.

“Stupid boy. You’re not going to see her for a very long time. She’s going to stay in there for a very long time and by the time he finally releases her, we’re going to be far away from here. I’ll make sure I have you wrapped around my fingers, fool.” She said within herself and smirked evilly.
