Chapter 4

Draco took Sapphire back to the empire and locked her up in the room he prepared for her. He went to the training ground to supervise the new recruits who were brought in yesterday.

“Hey Draco.” Knife called running towards him. His face hardened immediately he saw her and he turned to leave.

“Did she just call him by his name?” Pierce, the assistant head analyst asked.

“She has got some guts.” Molly, the head analyst scoffed.

“Draco.” Knife held his right arm and he pushed her off roughly.

“I’ll take the first time as a mistake. The second, stupidity. Touching me, a death wish.” Draco said with red eyes.

“I wanted to talk to you about something.” She pouted.

“Are you crazy?!” Draco yelled and she gasped.

“What’s going on here?” Derrick asked as he walked in and Knife ran to him.

“I tried to talk to him and he lashed out…..” She lied.

“Boss, that’s a lie. She called Lord Draco by his name and she held him with her filthy hands.” Pierce said.

“Baby they’re lying…..”

“You did not only disrespect my brother, you call him a liar too! Take her to the ice dungeon. Keep her there for an hour. Maybe you’ll regain your senses when you’re frozen.” Derrick said to the men in black. They hurdled her and took her away despite her pleadings.

“I don’t know why you’re still with her. She’s not for you. You can find some other girl to fuck.” Draco scoffed.

“She’s just too good in bed. I know you wouldn’t understand because you haven’t experienced the pleasure of being with a woman for a very long time.” Derrick chuckled.

“Lord Draco, we got a beep from Baby’s necklace.” Molly said and Draco ran to the computer lab.

“Where did it come from?” Draco asked as he stared at the computer.

“Russia.” Molly said. “We couldn’t track her more than that but we know for sure that she is in Russia.” Pierce said.

“That bitch!” Draco cursed. He raised the chair close to him and flung it across the lab destroying two computers in the process. 

“Keep on tracking him.” Draco said. He was about leaving the lab when Molly’s next words stopped him.

“Don’t you think we should ask her to help out? We’ve been on this for eight years and we haven’t been able to get her exact location. She might be off some help.” Molly said.

“She won’t help us. Just keep looking.” He said and left.

Sapphire finally woke up from her three hours nap. She looked around the room and tried to recollect where she was. “Shit!” She said when she remembered that she was still in the empire.

“That little whore! How dare she? I’m not going to get out of here soon. What do I do?” She thought out loud. “That little thing dares belittle because she’s fucking Clyde. She threatens me with finding him another partner. Well go ahead Giulia, let’s see if you would find someone as good as I am.”

“Are you done thinking?” Draco’s voice made her hair stand on her skin.

“Have you been listening to me?” She rolled her eyes at him.

“You know, if you were mine, I would have plucked out your eyes for doing that.” 

“But I’m not, am I?”

“So what’s it going to be?”

“What’s what going to be?”

“Are you going to work for me?”

“No.”

“Well that’s harsh.”

“If I work for you, that girl would make me a laughing stock.”

“She doesn’t have to know.”

“What?”

“She doesn’t have to know and I don’t except you to hack into Pietro’s security that easily, it would take months. And I’m going to pay you if you succeed.” He said and she sighed.

“You weren’t planning on keeping me here forever?”

“I wasn’t. I’ll let you go once your job is done.”

“Promise?”

“You have my word.” 

“Okay.” She said and his eyes lit up.

“You’ll do it?”

“It’s not a promise But I’ll try.” She said and he smiled inwardly.

“I’ll ask one of my men to take you back home.” He said and she shook her head.

“Can I stay here for a while? You won’t even notice me. I promise I won’t out what you do here to the cops.” She said pleadingly and Draco stared at her confused.

“Why…..”

“Please.” She pouted and he sighed.

“Not like you’ll see much of the empire anyway. But I have to warn you, if my brother feels you’ve seen too much, you can never leave.”

“I understand.” Sapphire smiled.

“You mean she wants to stay willingly?” Derrick asked when Draco told him the news.

“Yeah. Isn’t it weird?”

“It is but you’ve gotten what you wanted willingly.”

“What do you mean?

“Draco… We’re brothers. We know almost everything about ourselves if not everything. I know when my brother likes a girl but I just hope you don’t fall too hard for this girl.” Derrick said and patted his shoulders.

“I’m not falling for her. I just want to use her.”

“Don’t fall too hard brother.” Derrick smiled.

“Derrick.”

“Draco.”

“Do you think she really is still alive?”

“Well as long as that necklace is still beeping, she definitely is still alive.” Derrick said and he sighed.

“I miss my baby.” He whispered.

“I miss her too.”

It’s been two days since Sapphire volunteered to help Draco. She knew there was no way she could do it without being caught but she wouldn’t tell him that. She needed a place to stay now that her father was back in the country that was why she agreed to stay here, she knew he would never find her here even if Clyde told him where she was.

“Good morning, Draco Vincenzo.” Sapphire said with a smirk immediately he entered the room.

“Why are you different today?”

“Because I get to work on my toy today.” She smiled widely.

“Well since you’re too excited about this , let’s get going then.”

Draco took her to the computer which was on the fourth floor. He intentionally brought her here instead of the general computer lab so she wouldn’t see the entire empire.

“This would be your office for the mean time until you become comfortable with me…….”

“I would never be comfortable with you.” She snapped.

“Well never say never.” Draco clicked his tongue.

“I love it.” She said looking around. The mini lab had eight different computers for different functions and it was spacious and well organized. “Beautiful.” 

“I’ll leave you to it.” Draco said and left.

“Wow!” She said as she looked around. “Let’s get to work.” The first thing that came to her mind was to check on Clyde. She had hidden a camera in his apartment and she used it sometimes to watch him especially when Giulia was around.

“That little bitch!” She whispered when she saw them cuddling on the sofa.

“You worry too much Clyde. She already accepted to do it.” She heard Giulia tell him.

“I know but how did you do it?” Clyde asked her.

“You know we’ve never seen eye to eye, so I apologized to her.” She smirked.

“I love you.”

“I love you more.” Giulia said and kissed him.

“Love my foot. To think he was even my best friend. He doesn’t even know me.” Sapphire hissed and disconnected the camera footage.

Knife walked naked in Derrick’s room. They just finished rounds of sex and she wasn’t ready to put on her clothes yet.

“Put on your damn clothes and get out.” Derrick said sternly when he saw her still naked.

“I want more…”

“I said put on your fucking clothes and get out of my quarters. I’ll send for you when I need you.” He said and she hurriedly wore her clothes. She bumped into Draco on her way out but she didn’t bother to say sorry.

“Heard you took her to the top secret lab. What if she finds something?”

“It isn’t secret if three people know about it.” Draco shrugged.

“Pierce knows about it cause he’s the only one I trust.”

“What about Night?”

“She’s gone for now.“

“I miss her.”

“That crazy ass would come back earlier than expected.” Derrick chuckled.
