Chapter 5

Sapphire became bored after working on the computers for nearly four hours. She decided to take a stroll around the empire but she discovered that the door was locked from outside. “Stupid boss. Do you think for a genius for nothing?” 

She quickly got the laptop close by and tapped some keys which opened the door. “Gotcha.” She chuckled.

She used the elevator to go the grand floor where some members of the gang were seen walking about.

“Who are you?” Knife asked when she bumped into her.

“Oh hi, purple bitch.” Sapphire muttered when she saw the all purple tattooed lady before her.

“Who are you? Are you a new member of the gang , floor member perhaps?” Knife asked sarcastically. 

“Actually I’m in a higher rank than you’ll ever be.” Sapphire scoffed.

“Oh I see you’re that bitch Draco brought in some days ago…..”

“What did you just say?” Sapphire asked walking towards her slowly.

“Hey Sapphire.” Molly called excitedly running towards them.

“You’re….

“Molly. You met me the other day remember? The head analyst.”

“Oh. Hi.”

“I’ll show you around.” Molly said pulling her hand.

“Excuse you? I was literally talking to her before you came.” Knife scoffed.

“Oh sorry bitch, I didn’t see you there.” Molly rolled her eyes.

“Let’s go Sapphire. We don’t want some people to loose their brains because of unmatched beauty.” Molly said and flipped her hair.

“You bitch!” Knife said and pushed her making Sapphire fall too.

“How dare you!” Sapphire yelled and Knife slapped her.

“Who the fuck do you think you are?” Sapphire asked with red eyes. Draco was just walking in when he saw the scene. He decided to stay quiet and watch the scene.

“I’m the boss’s girlfriend and I have the right to punish whomever I want.” Knife said and she scoffed.

“Not anyone. I’m not a member of your stupid gang so you don’t have any right over me!“

“I wonder what Draco saw in you. It’s not like you’re prettier than I am.”

“Oh so you’re just jealous?” 

“You’re just a slut, you won’t do him any goo……” Sapphire interrupted her with a heavy slap across her face.

“Say that again!” Sapphire yelled and Knife stared at her shocked. The calm Sapphire had turned to a crazy woman in just seconds. Her hair was scattered all over her face and she took off her shoes. “I said SAY IT AGAIN!!”

“You’re a crazy slut. How dare you lay your hands on me?!” Knife muttered and Sapphire chuckled. 

“I’m gonna show you how crazy I am bitch!” Sapphire said and jumped on her expectedly making them crash on the floor. She punched her face using her fists and when Knife tried to raise her hand, she sat on them.

“Get off me!” Knife screamed but she kept on punching her.

“I’m not done.”

“That’s enough Sapphire.” Draco said and pulled her off her.

“Let go off me. I’m not done!” Sapphire kept screaming as he took her away.

“You shouldn’t have come out of the lab in the first place.” Draco sighed.

Knife finally stood up from the ground but she was too embarrassed to look up. The other members around who were watching quickly ran from there before she transferred her aggression on them.

“Let go off me!” Sapphire kept screaming as Draco took her back to the lab.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Draco asked.

“Giving her a taste of my fist.” Sapphire said dramatically.

“What were you even thinking going out there in the first place?”

“Well what were you thinking locking me and leaving me all alone in here without food in the first place?!”

“I… You.. Where did you even learn to fight like that?“

“Who do you think fights for me when I go on solo missions?” She scoffed.

“You have quite a fist.” Draco chuckled and she glared at him. “Hey be careful, I’m not usually this nice.” He said meanly and she stopped glaring.

“Just don’t go out there without me to avoid things like this from repeating itself. Who knows what she might ask for?”

“I’m not a member of your gang so she can’t ask for anything.“

“You’re right. But she’s not going to let go of the fact that you beat her. I haven’t seen Knife with that expression in ages. She was beyond shocked.”

“Was she beaten before?”

“Yes by someone. She’s not here now. She’s on a mission.”

“Okay.”

“Draco!” Derrick yelled walking into the lab. Draco quickly pushed Sapphire behind him and blocked her with his arm.

“Let go off me.” She whispered.

“Shh.. He’s not as nice as I am.” He whispered and she kept calm.

Clyde was just coming back from his part-time job when he noticed a strange car parked at the yard. He stared at the plate number and he gasped finding out the owner of the car. “He’s….back.” He stuttered. He wanted to turn to leave when he hit a hard chest.

“Looking for someone?” A muscular man asked and he gasped.

“Hey, Mr. Luca.” Clyde said nervously.

“Clyde. How long has it been?” Mr. Luca smirked. “I couldn’t find my daughter at her apartment…..”

“Why don’t we go in and talk?” Clyde cut him off.

“Good idea. Get in the car.” Mr. Luca said and he gulped. He hesitated for a while before entering through the other side.

“Where is my daughter?”

“I…Uh.. don’t know.”

“What do you mean…”

“I meant she just took off. She went on an impromptu vacation. She didn’t tell me where, she just left.”

“Why?”

“I’m thinking she needed some space. You know, work and all. Maybe she wanted to spend time for herself. She did say she’ll call when she finds a place to crash.”

“Then why didn’t she call to inform me?”

“Like I said she took off. I only got to find out when she called. She didn’t even tell me where she was…”

“Did she know I was coming?”

“No she didn’t. How could she know when you didn’t inform us?” Clyde said in one breathe and he sighed.

“You don’t have to be afraid of me Clyde. You look like shit.” Mr. Luca said and he gulped. 

“Loosen up.” 

“Can I go now?”

“Sure. Call me next time she gives you a call.”

“Sure. I wouldn’t waste a second.” He forced a smile as he got down from the car. 

“Clyde! What are you……”

“Shit! Giulia must you always talk?” He covered her mouth quickly. Mr. Luca whined down his car window to look at her properly.

“ Don’t shush me.” She pushed his hand off.

 “Who’s he?” She asked.

“Your girlfriend, I assume.” He said and Clyde nodded.

“Teach her to keep her mouth shut.” He said and whined up before instructing to driver to move.

“Who was that?” Giulia asked as they walked into the building.

“Stop asking questions. You almost got me into a huge mess just now. Just keep quiet.”

“Draco let me see her! How dare she lay her hands on my girl?” Derrick yelled.

“Your girl? Last time I checked she was just a bed warmer. Did you get the love bug without informing me?” 

“She disobeyed my number one rule.”

“Excuse me, what rule?” Sapphire asked and Draco gasped.
