Chapter 6: The Antidote

" Are you really serious about curing my wife? mr ryder " Mr vance callaway asked, his eyes which was filled with sadness was suddenly lifted up with hope, when he thought all hope was lost.

There was someone who knew of his wife's disease and said he could heal her!!

" Yes it's quite possible to cure her but like I said, I will need some certain ingredients to mix up the cure, just get me the red Spinach, two dried ketuna leaves, a bottle of honey, ten ants head, an elephant's truck, a bottle of metrioxide and a spoon of galic " Reed answered.

" Is that all? nancy, write everything down and fetch those Ingredients for me, I am ready to pay any amount even if it requires millions of dollars, bring all those ingredients at once " Mr vance orders.

Nancy nodded when she quickly left the room, heading downstairs to get all those Ingredients required by mr ryder, only lizzie remained with her father and also with reed ryder in the room where her mother was laid.

Although she loved the idea of having hope that her mother would be saved.

But she couldn't bring herself to trust someone like reed ryder who she thinks has little experience, even though he revealed the name of the disease affecting her mother which they knew already.

But she still had doubts about reed ryder!!

It didn't take ms nancy an hour before she returned back into the room but she was followed by a few men who carried the Ingredients with them, It took her a few minutes to get those ingredients but it was quite expensive since the ketuna Leaves are rare Herbs!!

" Father I brought the required ingredients at once, mr ryder....what else do you need? " Ms nancy asked when reed checked the ingredients which were placed on the table before him, they all watched.

He verified the Ingredients and confirmed that they were real when he demanded a plate and a stone, Everything was brought before reed including a chair for him to be sitted as he made his work.

Mr vance remained quiet as he watched everything calmly!

Reed cleaned the sweats off his face as he brought out of the Ingredients, cutting both the red spinach and the two ketuna leaves into several pieces with the knife which was given to him and he poured them into the plate.

He poured the entire bottle of honey into the plate when he started grinding the everything with the stone, He mixed them while grinding them into powders when he added the ant heads and also the elephant's truck.

He grinded them all together with the stone before adding the bottle of the rare chemical metrioxide and he poured the spoon of galic into the mixture before using the spoon to confirm the potency.

Everything were mixed together, creating red powders when Reed cleaned the sweats off his face, he slowly stared at mrs callaway who remained unconcious on the bed when his eyes were filled with pity.

Even though she is completely unconscious, her subconsciousness still experiences alot of pains, It was the pains that drove her to the state of unconciousness when he stared at mr ance callaway.

" Mr ryder, are you done? Is there anything you will need? " Mr Vance asked.

" Yes only a cup of clean water, I need a cup of clean water that has never experienced any form of contamination before, that is all, everything is nearly complete " Reed answered when mr vance turned towards his men.

" You heard him, get me a cup of clean water now!! " Mr Vance ordered.

Two of his men rushed out of the room when they returned a few minutes later with a cup of clean water, the cup of clean water was handed over to reed ryder who inspected the water and he gave his approval.

Within Seconds, he poured the red powder into the water and the water Instantly colored dark red, reed turned the water with the spoon to confirm that it has already been mixed when he grabbed the cup of water.

" The antidote is perfect now, she needs to drink this " Reed voiced out.

" What? are you crazy or what? are you telling me that you want my mom to drink something this nasty? Do you intend on poisoning my mother finally? did they sent you to kill her? Is president kim behind this? "

Lizzie couldn't contain her rage at all, she couldn't believe that her mother would have to drink something this mixed and irritating to her eyes when reed calmly smiled at her, he covered his nose with a nose mask.

" Be calm lizzie, mr ryder.....are you certain that if my wife drinks this liquid, she would be cured? I know that president kim recommended you to me and I trust president kim but I have no reason to trust you "

" Are you certain that my wife would be cured? " Mr vance asked.

" Yes, based on what I can see, the disease hasn't reached a week yet so this antidote is enough to cure her but it's quite easy for her to contact any disease even after being cured " Mr Ryder Answered.

" Huh? what do you meant by that? " Mr vance asked.

" She got poisoned but her poison was something that could cause a disease and the enclymadia disease is like an open door, even after being cured....There are chances that she could be infected with another disease "

Reed answered as he slowly approached her, He held her by the face when he slowly opened her mouth, Pouring down the red liquid into her mouth and she swallowed the contents while still being Unconcious.

The air became even more tensed than before!!
