Chapter 16

Brian visited the golf and met Ciara there. Before walking up to her, he made sure Oliver and his Chevrolet weren’t anywhere around. He took from the popcorn she was eating and she gave a deep smile, picked some pop and fed him; Brian made heaven.

“I am not happy with you,” she quarreled and dragged a frown. “You didn’t honor my party and I sent you a message to buzz me when you come around, and you never did.”

“You sent me a message?” asked Brian, amazed.

“Yes I did or didn’t your dad tell you?”

“Trust me he didn’t,” said Brian and he saw his father at once, alighting from his car.

Ciara caught sight of him too, “Oh talk of the devil. You can go right away and ask him.”

Brian breathed hard, coughed, and sniffed. He didn’t want his father to see him with Ciara or any girl or know of his feelings for her even he didn’t want anyone to know
