With the decision already put upon them, nobody else had the nerve to speak out about the arrangement.

That left them watching and waiting as Harold continued to browse through his device.

“Lets hear it then.”

Marco grumbles, having lost his patience from awaiting with what the man had to say.

The bartender flinch, but was vigorous to clear his throat before facing the group. They all had this bored expression on their faces, all the while staring at him.

“Um, yes. First, we’d like to gather samples of those serums, along with the bodies of those insectoids that you fought on the pier. We need to confirm if they truly are the source of the borrowed power.”

He informs them of that one thing on their list before fumbling away on the other notes that he had prepared earlier.

“You mean to tell me we’ve been injecting stuff from those things?”

Finny’s mouth gaped at the information. Even with his intricate sources, he never found out about that, and the discovery only made him infuriated.
