Chapter Eleven

Mary and Roland just had to wait for the day to be over so they could go back home.

The tension and uncomfortable feeling they were getting was too much and they could not take it anymore.

It was though the ground would open for them to enter, bit it did not. Lisa was treated like royalty everywhere she went to and since she was with Peter now, it commanded the same respect for him.

"What is she seeing in him?" Roland asked himself as he drove back home with Mary in the front seat.

Mary was not short of thought herself. "What did he do to deserve her acceptance?" She asked herself as she was also confused.

She did not know what on earth would make a woman so sophisticated, a hundred times more sophisticated than her to stop to Peter's level.

Mary and Roland were both quiet through out the drive to the house.

Both hand their minds filled up. Roland had been crushing on Lisa since back in the days. He several times made attempts to impress her, but as was never impressed.
