Anthony is such a complex character to write and can be frustrating at times but your support makes the struggles of writing a lot better
"I want to buy two tickets please!" was the set of words that came flying the moment this person walked up to the ticket counter, right by the entrance of The Nostalgia cinema. "Okay, what movie will you be seeing and would you like to get a bag of popcorn and a drink with that?" Anthony asked, standing at the other side of the counter where movie tickets and snacks are sold. Meanwhile, the customer stood in front of him, waiting for the tickets he just asked for and having his wallet in hand, ready to pay for it. "Umm, I want to see the— Umm, the new movie that you guys have been advertising everywhere since the start of this week. You know the one based on that amazing light novel with the guy and the Umm— what's the name again?" The customer was lost for words, trying to recollect the title of the exact movie he came here to see but was having difficulty doing it. "If the light novel is that amazing then how come you don't remember the name?" Anthony asked with a skeptical gaze
Where the assault was happening was someplace close to the entrance of one of the movie theaters, the same one with the poster for the same movie this customer had bought the tickets for. Because the ticket takers who were the only authority in the cinema were at the end of the short corridor leading to the theater itself, even though they were the closest ones to the assault and were supposed to do something about it, they ended up not being aware of its existence. "Come on girl, how many times do I gotta ask before you drop them digits, huh? Quit playing this game of hard-to-get and just do as you're told!" said a tall young guy with a grin and lustful stare. He was leaning uncomfortably close to a young female of similar age and she was in a defensive position, doing her best to move away from him. Unfortunately, she wasn't allowed to. "I said no! How many more times do I have to tell you that I have a boyfriend and I came here with him, so stop pestering me, all three of you!"
Back at the ticket counter, the customer who had just turned to see all of this happening, exclaimed in shock "Hey, what do they think they're doing? That's my girlfriend!" He dropped everything he had just bought, minus the tickets which were in his wallet, on the floor. His sudden response made Anthony who was the only other person there that wasn't involved with any of them, slowly turn his head in that direction and see what was happening. However, even though he was seeing what was taking place, his expression didn't change a bit. He looked utterly bothered because it didn’t concern him. "I can't let them get away with this!" The customer whose anger had skyrocketed from seeing his girlfriend being treated like that clenched fist and it vibrating profusely. He prepared to start running towards them and attack. Meanwhile, Anthony who was assessing the guys over at that side flicked his eyes to the customer beside him, doing so without changing the direction his head was facin
'The other moviegoers should already be inside the theaters which are sound proof so no matter how much he yells they won't be able to hear him. Many might not even be willing to step out and help, but, that's not the same for the ticket takers and other staff here' Anthony thought, watching the customer who was about to do exactly what he told him to. "Come on princess, stop moving too much so the camera can capture your face—" Jason said but was interrupted by the chime of the girl's phone getting unlocked. Instantly realizing his success in what he had been trying to achieve for the past minute and a half, Jason smirked and let go of her head to operate the phone with his dominant hand. He quickly went into the keypad to dial his number with a huge smirk on his face. She tried to get her phone back but the other two guys used their bigger bodies to obstruct her from getting through, and after trying too hard, she gave up and stepped back. She shrugged "You know what, it doesn
"I've got good news, man!" The customer said, grinning from ear to ear and sliding the palm of his left hand on the countertop. He went from the point right next to him, until he walked around the counter and got to where Anthony was standing. Once he had a blank-faced Anthony in front of him, the customer stared at him for a good three seconds before he jolted into awareness, and all of a sudden he was acting nervous. "Sorry about that. I can call you MAN, can’t I?” The customer grimaced “I know you’re older than me but it can't be by that much, right? Maybe just a few years 'cause you look like you're twenty-one and I'm seventeen, so not that much" he said, nodding his head and folding his arms proudly. Anthony’s shaved beard was making him look a year younger but the customer didn’t know that. He flicked his eyes a bit lower, staring at the name tag on Anthony's clothes. After staring into the name tag, the customer became shocked. He grimaced, saying "Favorite? Strange name b
Slowly he turned to look at who this person was and saw that it was a young girl who had her phone pushed forward towards him and her head lowered a bit. He wondered what her intention was but not feeling interested enough to check, he wanted to look away when from the opposite side he heard footsteps rushing up to where the both of them were. "??" When he flicked his eyes over to where these footsteps were originating from, he saw the same set of girls he had seen staring and pointing at him moments before, walking around the counter and meeting with the girl who had her phone extended to him They all stood behind her back, having encouraging looks on their faces, and it was obvious to him that all of them were in this together He dropped the ladle back in the bag full of popcorn kernels and then sighed while still looking at them and they became nervous from his stare alone "What do you think you're all doing?" He asked One of the girls from behind nudged the girl in front be
"Disgusting!" With a cold sneer, Anthony who stood over one of the water closets in the Nostalgia Cinema restroom stalls said. He had a plunger in one hand and a toilet scrubber in the other, throwing his face to the side and smacking his tongue in disgust when he saw it. There was a single big piece of turd floating in the middle of the water, staring at him and he couldn't help but curse whoever left it there. Frowning and rolling his eyes, he turned around to close the stall door, locked it then went on to take care of business. He flushed multiple times but the turd refused to sink, remaining afloat on the surface after all the excess water had gone down. "Shit!" He cursed after what he did only scattered it into smaller pieces, making it more difficult to flush and his work more difficult now. Anthony concluded that something must be blocking the pipes, so he huffed and rolled his eyes exasperatedly, knowing what was needed of him to do and he wasn't happy about it. He ro
After seeing the reaction these two were having to what he showed them, Jason quickly put on a look of disgust before rolling his eyes and dropping his shirt to cover the gun back up again "I swear, you guys are such pathetic losers," Jason said then turned to the left to stare at his reflection on the mirror wall, right above the row of sinks He moved over to the sink then turned on the tap and started to wash his hands. He then flicked his eyes to the shocked-looking reflections of the two there with him "What are you both acting so scared for? How many times do I have to tell you guys who my brother is?" He said then took his eyes back to his reflection Because of what he said, the other two who now remembered all the times he had spoken about his brother and felt like it wasn't out of place for Jason to have a gun because of that fact had a little amount of tension they were feeling relinquished, and so they walked closer to him by the sink. Todd who hadn't spoken since and
