Chapter Seven:

As Eva Clark fell into the arms of Jackson Harrison, Jason Kin and Michael Stone arrived, both of whom had always tried to get close to Eva Clark, and Jason Kin was like a spy to him.

Michael Stone shouted angrily, "You... you impudent pig, where do you put your hands?"

Then Jason Kin added, "You wretch, a piece of trash... how dare you put your dirty hands on the company's executive manager, Eva Clark?"

Michael stepped forward mockingly, "How dare you touch her and try to impose yourself on her?"

Jason Kin also took the opportunity to insult, "He's just a sick insect, starting to suck blood and getting close to good things."

Eva Clark was angered by their words and exploded in their faces, "How dare both of you speak this way about Jackson? I am capable of maintaining her dignity in front of any intruder, and you don't need to defend me and insult Jackson."

Eva couldn't ignore their bitter talk about Jackson, she continued angrily as she adjusted her sitting position, "Who told you, Michael, to be a lawyer and defend me."

She continued angrily, "And you, Jason, how can you be so rude? Who gave you the right to insult Jackson?"

Michael shouted in anger, "Are you defending this wretch? Even his wife left him and cheated on him with another man right in front of him."

Jason continued mockingly, "It seems you're acting out of character, treating masters like villains, and putting a piece of garbage above your head. But be cautious, for the place of garbage is beneath your feet, my dear."

Jackson remained calm and composed, his gaze like a lion, cold as ice, doing nothing but smiling. He knew the truth of the matter and understood how Michael behaved like a puppy around Eva. However, she wouldn't give him the chance, and he understood the extent of his filth.

Perhaps Michael was trying to provoke him to engage in an argument, but Jackson was not easily provoked, and he would not lose his composure. He took two steps closer to Jason and Michael and then stood his ground, spitting in their faces and saying, "And as for garbage, it should not enter the company; we only spit on it. As for me, I know how to get rid of you, but I'll consider you filthy garbage and won't get close so I don't get dirty and have a hard time cleaning my clothes."

Michael clenched his fist and was about to punch Jackson until Eva stopped him, saying, "This chaos won't happen in my office and here in the company, Michael. Men settle their accounts outside. As for Jackson..."

She was about to say that he's a partner in the company, but Michael interrupted her and said, "I am here the Vice President."

Perhaps she wanted to know why Jackson insisted on hiding certain things, especially if they were related to money and wealth, as everyone was eager to flaunt even a single dollar in their pockets. But she decided to find out later.

"He's the Vice President."

"You must be crazy, Eva. How can you make him responsible for such a position? He will ruin the company; he's just a failed employee and a cake-eater."

Michael deliberately made the company suffer losses so that Eva Clark would seek his help. He wanted to use this to get closer to her. But when he entered the office, he found her in Jackson's arms, and she didn't follow him. On the contrary, she confronted him and threatened him.

"You must be joking, Eva. How can you make him the Vice President?" Michael said mockingly, not believing it.

"The company is already in an embarrassing situation, and we need a huge amount to bring it back." Jason added.

Eva Clark replied, "The company's crisis has already been resolved, thanks to Jackson. He brought investors to the company."

Eva was at the peak of her happiness, and Jason Kin and Michael Stone were shocked to hear that.

"Who brings in investors, gives the company to him with his own hands, and promotes him to Vice President? Don't you know that this work requires experience, intelligence, and planning? How can a delivery boy work in place of businessmen?"

Eva didn't care about their words, but Jackson decided that he would take revenge step by step, and he would slowly reveal his wealth. Until then, he would slowly burn them, and now he would wait for Emma Carter's reaction.

Michael Stone was the older brother of Victoria Stone, his former wife's close and favorite friend. He wouldn't forget Victoria's favor in exposing his cheating wife in front of him while having sex with another man.

Michael and Jason left in anger, while Jackson waited in the office with Eva. He was sure she would ask him why he hadn't told them that he was a 50% partner. But Jackson beat her to it.

"You'll know everything in due time, and don't be afraid to understand that I know well how to manage a company like this, and I'll make it successful."

Eva got closer, and then she said, her body almost touching his, "I know you're not the same person I knew. You're a strong and wise person, but certainly, you didn't help me just because I was in trouble. There's definitely a hidden motive or another incentive. You're going to use your presence here."

Jackson laughed until his shiny white teeth appeared, and he said while looking into her eyes with intensity, "There's definitely a strong motive, and maybe my presence here with you will help me succeed in my plan, my dear. Don't think too much; sooner or later, you'll know the whole truth."

Jackson left the company, laughing, and as soon as he passed through the company's gate, he found a massive group of men in front of him. Michael sat on a car and shouted from a not-so-far distance, "You, the insect, I must settle some scores with you."

The men were holding sharp tools and weapons, and their bodies were extremely massive. Apparently, Michael planned to end Jackson's life.

Jackson laughed and mocked, "And do you settle scores between men by hiring other men? Do you think you're so weak that you need this many to face me alone?"
