"Great. After everything, we will celebrate because they will fall on their knees and beg us to forgive them, but we won't. Don't forget to always have me on the aya, and keep in touch with me. I want to know every move Mr. Jefferson makes," Alaric ordered, and Steve nodded.

He turned around and wanted to leave the room when he noticed the sudden silence of Steve again. Steve wasn't doing anything and was just standing, and Alaric turned around to look at him.

"What the hell is the problem Steve? Why are you like that? Why are you not following me? Don't tell me you still have something going on in your head," he said, as he walked back up to Steve, with raised eyebrows.

Steve looked sideways, to avoid Alaric's eyes and his knowing look. No matter what, Alaric had not convinced him and had not told him the truth.
