This Lothario has always seen himself superior to Thomas who is just the son of a farmer. Of course, the mocking tone coming from Thomas enrages him.

But he can’t refute it, because what Thomas said was true. Not wanting to look too embarrassed, he shows a nonchalant smile, and walks away. But…

“Hey!” Thomas calls. “You’ve been so kind to bring me this food. Can’t you take off these handcuffs on my hands? How am I going to eat these French fries?”

Lothario turns back. He looks so annoyed. But then again, he was told to help Thomas eat without taking off the handcuffs.

He comes to Thomas, picks a piece of the French fries from its cup, and then leans his hips on the table near Thomas.

“Sorry! I can’t help you with the cuff, but I can help you eat these potatoes,” he offers.

Thomas scrunches his face.

Lothario offers again by drawing that one stick of French fries to Thomas’ mouth. “Come on! For old time’s sake! This is the least I can do!”

“I’m not that hungry,” Thomas declines.

“Sigh!
