Doubtful

Dennis smiled. This was not new to him; years ago, he had always been doubted for his knowledge and expertise in the medical field.

However, now, everyone that knew him regarded him as a god of medicine. He walked closer to Duncan's bed and extended his hand out to Kuza for a shake,

"Don't worry, get to know me. I'm not here to make trouble," he said confidently, and she gazed at him in amusement.

Kuza was still not on board with whatever Yura had planned, but she decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, knowing that Yura wanted her grandfather alive just as much as she did.

Hesitantly, she extended her hand and shook Dennis with a lingering suspicion about him.

Dennis suddenly held her hand tightly, squeezing it a little, and Kuza experienced the most bizarre thing - She felt a sudden heat flow from her hand into her body.

Kuza panicked immediately and wanted to pull her hand away, but just then, Dennis let go, giving her a wry smile.

"What the hell was that, you bastard?!" She yelled, raising her hand to hit him, but Dennis swiftly blocked it, gently lowering her hand down

"Calm yourself, Ms Kuza", he said softly

"What did you do to me?" She asked with a suspicious look, shifting her gaze between Dennis and Yura

Dennis could not give up the opportunity to tease her and address her doubts about him earlier,

"Medicine," he said with a wry smile, and Kuza shot him a piercing angry look

"Has your period pain eased?" He asked her softly, and Kuza felt more puzzled.

She remained unmoved, unsure of what to say. It was apparent that she was dealing with a crazy man.

The only thing she couldn't figure out was why Yura had brought him to save her grandfather's life, and her confidence in him began to fade.

But suddenly, she had a shocking realization, he was right. She could not feel her period pains anymore.

Immediately she felt frantic and paced around uncomfortably, filled with many questions.

There was no medical explanation for what had just happened. Throughout her years in medical school, she had never experienced or heard of anything of the such, but still, she could not ignore the fact that the pain was completely gone.

This challenged everything she believed in science and medicine naturally. There was no such thing as magic, but how could she explain this? She thought as she paced around uncomfortably.

"How did you do it?" She turned sharply and asked him, her face turning red from embarrassment from knowing that this stranger, whom she still believed was crazy, had somehow known about her period pain

"Did Yura tell you?" She added sharply and turned to Yura

"Did you tell him?" She asked sternly

"No, Ms Kuza. You should really try and relax," Yura said, and Kuza felt infuriated.

Nothing made sense at that point, and she raked her hand through her hair in frustration

Dennis smiled satisfactorily and moved closer to Akio, and began to examine his condition, ignoring Kuza

A few moments later, he turned to Yura and stared at her with a reassuring smile on his face

"I know what's wrong with him. I know how to save your grandfather," he said confidently, and Yura's face brimmed.

"Great", she replied, rubbing her palms I'm excitement

"What do we have to do?" She asked him. The nurse stopped pacing when she overheard that Dennis had found a solution.

She was curious to know what it was and hurried over to them

"What did you find? Is it a brain paralysis situation?" She asked impulsively, still trying to find a medical link to rationalise the unsettling doubts about science going on in her head

Dennis turned to her and said with pleasure

"No, Ms Kuza", and shifted his gaze to Yura

"Can you find someone to transport your grandfather to the yard? I need to get him out under the sunshine," He asked

"The yard?!" The nurse exclaimed.

"What the hell for?" She turned and stared at Yura with a serious look

"Yura, listen to me. I have been your family's nurse and treated your grandfather's illness and examined his condition for years. Now, do not move him; we do not have a full grasp of what his conditions are and moving him could be dangerous."

"I know you think this man knows what he's doing, especially with that little act he performed earlier, but trust me, if you move your grandfather while he is still in this state, we have no idea what complications may arise", she sputtered, pleading with Yura to reconsider.

Dennis yawned exhaustively, awaiting Yura's permission to proceed.

Yura stared at the nurse for moments without saying a word; she could understand her fear. Not only was she their family's nurse, but Kuza had also gotten fond of her grandfather and cared deeply for him.

She understood that it was this fondness that made her so involved in his health and was only looking out for him.

She heaved a tired sigh and said,

"Ms Kuza. I thank you for everything you've done for my grandfather and for keeping him alive till now," Yura said and extended her arm and held Kuza gently.

"But this is a little above your area of expertise. Now you have tried everything you could to help and stabilize my grandfather's situation, but nothing has worked",

"I won't wait around any more and let anything happen to him. Mr Apollo says he knows how to save him, and for now, I'm going to put my faith in him," Yura retorted

She turned and faced Dennis and said affirmatively,

"Okay"

Dennis sprung up immediately and started moving towards the door, while Yura brought out her phone and called the female guard inside to push her grandfather to the yard on a stretcher.

Dennis waited outside the door, and when Yura and, surprisingly, the nurse caught up to him with Lord Duncan pushed behind on a stretcher,

Suddenly, they heard an angry voice that made them pause their strides

"Stop!"
