Chapter 3

I don't know but it comes to mind suddenly. His name. It's sounds familiar, only named to a person who respected and bowed by townspeople.

I don't think that is him though. Anyway he turn around and run away like he's meeting someone out of its mind. Gab find me the next moment, messy and all, watch with my eyes widely open to Pyro's disappearing figure.

"How do you find that place?" Gab ask just as I sit comfortably in the bus. We're heading home and I'm kind of sleepy, yet the question makes me fully awake and thought the deepest.

"Pyro did," I said, trying to catch a little bit of reaction from him. Yet I receive too much. He's worried, yet among all sigh, as if what I said is absurd.

"You don't forget," he shrugged before I even react. "Anyway... Have you enjoy?"

I nodded, hide the curiousity within me. I find him a bit weird though, so I can only look away. Did I suppose to forget?

I look around the people, there's only few of them. Perhaps enjoying themeselves to their heart content before heading home. Gab may have thought that way, yet he's here.

Because of me.

I sigh. "I enjoy myself," I tells him, my eyes still on the outside. I can feel his relief beside me, he even said his appreciation. His way of encouraging me to do this until next holiday.

Truth, I really enjoy myself. However it wasn't because of the holiday. I have a long path before to fully immerse on how normal people react to that's kind of stuff. There within my mind, the bruise covering a milky skin come to picture.

But enjoy myself, trully...it's an interesting sight. A ghost of smile appear in my lips, reflected in the glass window of the bus that barely seen. I almost lost my cool earlier, that because he looking such a way he may disappear like everyone else after.

Pyro... The name somewhat send shiver to my spine. I clearly rememeber. Atleast what my mind tells me. Named to the sacred boy praise by the townspeople.

I remember we always compare. He's way mysterious than a diety, descend from above yet hidden from everyone to see. Others who assume he's a fraud will always find their way to the deity I was name from. The great family surely prosper, in turns strictly forbid me from doing something odds in the open.

Atleast they don't limits me from doing something far from what they are expected. That's may be the reason I goes so far to even believe that one can only stained with sin...if discover.

So I wonder how much of the townspeople really is sinned?

Until my focus shifted to the hidden... To a forbidden.

One that stain me...all over.

The screech of the bus when it's stop functioning shifted me back to the present. Gab grab me gently, his hands been so cold as so the climate of the night. Yet this time I can felt the warmth that brought upon.

I jump, unconsciously step back. He seems shock, only for a second. "We're here!"

I nodded on his remark. "Thank you."

"After you," he made a way and I weirded out. He don't actually doing this the past months.

Perhaps he knows...I'm seeing the distant.

We live not so far from the central Town. Silence here always prevail, except inside the residents. Air freezingly cold, or atleast outside. The blows actually reminding me to the distant, so I enjoy everything about it outside.

I didn't tell Gab about that though. He only knows I'm strange...that I like it outside when everyone enjoy themselves inside at night.

If I will, sure he have long gone with me, away in this place...and from that place.

We are greeted by his colleagues. He said they are my friends, yet I felt it otherway around. I felt like they expecting someone from me...that I know I'm not.

"How's the Festivities?" The red-haired man ask, barely looking at my direction behind Gab. He directed his gaze to Gab, while my attention so far from the topic.

"Arsy enjoyed the night," Gab confdently said, ultimately grab me from my thought. His left arm rest around my neck and I'm sleepy to even react how unethical it is.

I blink, reminded how I react for almost all of them, doing this way when I'm least expected it. So...touchy.

"Good to hear that," the yellow-haired woman look at my direction, her voice doesn't even ring the bell...and almost unheard about. Perhaps the reason why no one react to what she said.

There actually five of them, only the red-haired man bold enough to laugh out loud that I shifted my attention from Yellow. Perhaps he thought there was a joke within Gab's exaggerating remarks.

The rest can also laugh awkwardly. I smile, which I always did to hide the question in my face. Are they gone nuts? I almost gasp, only I'm sleepy to do that.

Sure, they are weird people. So what's to expect? Given the color of their hair that determine how they naturally address, their personality is one thing that clash about...yet ultimately connected their spirit the more they interact.

Except the others so silence that I weirded out.

Red as the older...and I think fascilate the establishment I resided with Gab. He's the one Gab attentively interact with, he seems enjoying it, telling how the central Town becoming so innovative.

Good thing they notice my bored expression, and the way I look at them, they notice that I don't like it. They crumble and turn away after their goodbyes, leaving Gab and I in the stairs connected to our every room. They have a night shift, and I don't know what their work is but the color of their hair tells me it's beyond normal.

I don't...actually expect normality in them.

They are...beyond that.

Before I even enter the room, something grab my attention. I look down, see through the window the outside, and how Red smile bittely to the wind. Alone. Yet he seems talking to something...or someone.

Yellow and the others... no way to leave him behind. Or are they clash again...and fail to lift their spirit after?

"Arsy?" Gab peek through the window, feeling weird to look around and grab my arm gently before I even react.

There's a feeling I couldn't let go as the night fell deep...

The cry of the bizzare entities broke the silent of the night.
