Chapter 6

"I'm the goddess descend to save the town!" her cry rotten the distant forest.

"Stop!" I shriek to felt the stab in my heart.

"You're no difference of them!" her attention shifted to me, her glare cause blood to spit. "Just like them you're immerse, cause misery in me. You all cause the downfall of heaven!"

I've known the townspeople despise to this woman. They call her witch for a reason unknown. However, I know. They are fear the truth...she bring upon her descend!

"Why...you're even descend to begin with?" my question even in myself was a kind of unfair. Is someone up there order her to do so?

I pity her, yet I know she don't like it. She's been up to something. That's what I believe. Everyone's believing in!

"I also question myself," her voice cold this time. She laugh, wiping the tears that trying to escape her eyes. "Why I'm doing this? Is this even worth it? I...have sacrifice too much for this..."

I can felt how she long for someone up there as her tears escape her pained-glowing eyes. I wonder...if the townspeople saw it. I know the answer though...and that's makes them the sinner.

They are the death...of the goddess descending for the town's destinies.

"It's not your fault," someone said, a family who don't know the heart of the goddess. There's a ridiculed to the way he said the words. "Everyone's in grave, Arsy. That witch just uttered something bizzare-"

"Stop it," my voice almost a whisper, regretful and disappointed. I can felt the gasp that escape from every member of the family. I eyed them coldly. "She said...she's the Goddess. Aren't you hear her stand until the end?"

"That's just a trick for you to crumble like this!" the statement from the brother of father. His face darkened and there's a warning in his every stares.

"Arsy," Mother hold my hand with her pleading eyes, "don't mind what you hear. Just like your uncle says, it's just trick. That woman...use to spit those nonsense."

"Whom, mom?" I ask, though my mind will never crack to open for understanding. "Why do they have to use her? Why...she even let them use her that way?"

The blood...never leave my mind. I wanted it gone. I wanted to escape from regrets and this mediocre of a life!

Yet...I don't want blood leave in any corner of this town.

I won't do the same the woman did to herself just for the sake of escape!

She's a failure as a Goddess. She believes that way. She thought she won't ever again turn the tide and tables of fate. And with her death...she will able to find escape.

And the way to ends the never-ending.

"They are gone mad!" my sister shriek, then looking to father for a way to disperse them. "Do something, Pa! They...are mad!"

She talking about the townspeople. They are ferocious this time, driven by fear, and thought been burse by the Goddess. Yeah, they starting to believe it...just to remain alive, away from the curse.

Now they surround the church. A home of a believer such my father, a three-generation Founder. They are rallying, wanting for the truth! Wanting for hope...that they can have their wishes granting for eternal life.

Home. I laugh to the thought that just escape my mind. I just found it...the church's not my home.

It's never been my escape.

The goddess can go back to her home, escape from the ridicule and failure. That's why I thought...to never give up just like her.

There's no escape...for a sinner.

"I want...an eternal life," I pray to my heart content, face the figure that everyone says where my name is after.

He's the Diety Arsy, the pure and unshakeable diety of all!

"Gives me protection and I'll forever grateful to have your believer faith for you unshakeable."

I don't know how much time pass while I'm remain in my knees infront of the figure. Just as I move to open my eyes; the world shaken, and I fell to the deepest of unknown.

Next time I know, I'm walking to darkness with only my hope for eternal life's in mind. It's keeping me to going on...and find the hope for life.

Because home...never design for my escape.

I tremble when I come across the forest. The died leaves creak to my every step. I'm not yet able to analyze the surrounding, or am I even alive?

Sure I am. However, where I am?

"Arsy!"

I look around looking for a familiar voice that calling my name. It's familiar voice...yet unknown for some reason. I don't understand!

"You wish for it," this time from a woman, "so here's the price. Enjoy!"

"How can I do that?" His voice, the familiar voice, now conflicted and painful. It struck the deepest, distract me to even move. "G-give him back to me," this time he almost pleading, or was he pleaded, together with the stuttering that's heart-throbbing.

"Why would I?" the woman feel suspicious, or was she really is?

Her voice tells me she enjoy the torment. I clench my fist for that thought, glare to the direction I face to track. Only to halted, hear the voice that's...overwhelming.

"Please... he's my home."

The woman laugh away the shock, even I mock this man's foolishness. What's home he reffering to?

"Tell me then," sure swayed, the woman shockingly up to something. "Tell me what you trully believe. What you trully wanted?" She as if sincere and hopeful...that she change her stand afterall.

The witch, I mean the goddess...trying to right her mistake?

I don't wait for them to even notice me. Or they already notice yet unable to trace?

"Whatever," I groaned and walk passed them. The fog made it impossible for them to notice me, so I think I'm just being cautious.

Or was it a damn dust! I cough when my heart pump just now and I breath some dust. I almost couldn't believe that I just breath in. Am I dead...earlier?

Sound impossible so I drop the idea and search for the way out of this annoying place.

Suddenly it click where I am. Looking around, wishes pour through my ears, down to the deepest of my existence.

However, the place an opposite of all the wishes; the wishes of flesh turn to dust, as so the eternal life.

"But to have the wishes ungranted," the silence allow me to hear her it, "you just have him to fell for you. Have him head over you!"
