Timothy told Rosa everything that had happen earlier- trying to make it sound less gruesome and violent as it originally was.
After retelling the events earlier, Rosa said to him, "You know I have never liked Silas. He is just an annoying asshole. I still don't know why you are working under him. Ah, my poor husband."
She reached out and carefully touched his chest, “I think you should consider quitting.”
"Me neither, my dear Rosa, I don’t like him- not even by a little BIT. Still, I have to try and endure a little bit, my sweetheart.” Timothy’s eyes sparked with determination as he continued, “I have a plan; listen to me. All of this enduring is to get money to start a life here again as in the mainland, it didn't work out, and we both have fallen love with this continent already. I always thought that if I endured and managed to find a mechanic for Silas who could rebuild or repair the airship, we can steal it after that. For the crew, of course, we would try to get the new person to join as well. You also know that I do have some friends among the natives. So my love, what do you think if we could live along with the natives and start our life anew there with an airship?"
Timothy looks at Rosa, sounding hopeful, but it is evident that Rosa had her doubts. She was skeptical about Timothy’s plan- after all, they’ll be messing with Silas.
"How do you know that the new person would join this plan of yours? You don’t know anything about her yet. What if she steals it for herself?”Rosa voices out her concerns
But Timothy simply smirked as If he already thought of it every step of the way. So Rosa smiled as well and continued as she caress Timothy’s swollen and beat up cheeks, “ However, you know I will always support you and go wherever you will go. No matter what we will have or how we will live as long as we have each other."
"Rosa, I think the person we have hired was a pirate before. I think I saw a tattoo of a bloodied fang on her left arm, a small one. She also has the skills of a captain and seems to be an amazing mechanic. Even though she might hold an upper position in our future group, it is fine. I wouldn't mind working under an experienced pirate captain as a security guard or as a brute." Timothy explained excitedly as he told his wife his dream.
He continued with his starry eyes, "We could make a lot of money even when just selling the items we could gather outside. Selling them to someone in the town is easy. I know that this will make us an enemy with Silas and his company, but what can that son of a b-err, I mean, that blond do other than woo married women and get trouble. I'm tired of that and getting beaten up every day by drunkards and then seeing Silas faking his smile and pretending that he cares about me, but in reality, I'm the only one who dares to work under him." Timothy was upset. Because of money, most of the time, he needed to be a human shield for Silas, who seems to not learn from his mistakes.
He knows pretty well that Silas was using his influence of money on him, but Timothy doesn’t really have a choice. It’s the only thing he knows how to do best- fighting. But even him, who grew up in the streets and got used to fighting, grows tired of getting in between of Silas’ silly fights. It was childish.
After releasing a heavy sigh, he continued as he was caressing Rosa’s delicate and small hands, "So Rosa, I think we can also get Marie into this. Then we will also have a skilled secretary plus Arwin, who is a skilled captain. You are an experienced cook and other housework, then me, who is skilled and capable of fighting. We could achieve a lot of things without Silas."
Rosa felt safe in his hands, but she still worries about the plan. It sounded too good to be true; she’s not that naïve to think it’s going to work without fail.
"Timothy, what about the doctor and Mark? Wouldn't it be good to have a skilled doctor? I think Mark is an assassin, as he is good with stuff involving stealth." Rosa asked out from Timothy, subtly suggesting the two of them. Rosa knows well that they will be an excellent addition to the crew.
"Oh, hmm, I think the doctor is also fed up with Silas as he actually doesn't pay the doctor. Silas is only giving empty promises. If we will offer him enough money, that greedy old man would probably be ready to go to hell if we asked for it. Even when he doesn't admit, I think he likes me and considers me as a friend as I know more about him than Silas. We both know that Mark will follow the doctor anywhere he wants to go. I don't know why and I haven't asked, but that's how it is." Timothy said while showing more attention to his wife."Okay, Timothy, you will take care of the doctor and Arwin. I will take care of Marie as we are friends and let's try to go by this plan of yours. Even if someone betrays us and tells Silas, he cannot do anything other than fire us. However, he may try to do something when we managed to get out of the city," Rosa said while kissing Timothy's lips.
Timothy kissed his wife back. He then said after, "It's a good thing that I made friends with the Lunar clan's leader when I was doing tasks outside of the city for Silas. Do you remember them? They have a Raven as a totem, and they worship the moon. I saved their clan leader's life back then from a beast. He also became my sworn brother that day. So we'll always have a sanctuary in their village." Timothy finished while watching Rosa.
"Yes, I remember that. Hmph! I hope that he didn't try to offer you any native beauty as a reward. You really haven't told me much about what happened at the village, hmph." Rosa suddenly pouted out while watching her husband's reactions. Timothy laughed gently once again, seeing his wife look so adorable.
"We only shared drinks and food at the village as I already had the world's most beautiful wife back home, so I wouldn't even dare to cheat on you," Timothy said while watching straight at Rosa's eyes.
"Hmph, okay, and let's start this plan of yours tomorrow as it's already late today. I want to sleep soon," Rosa said while trying to get up from the chair, but Timothy grabbed her from behind, immediately bit her neck gently, and licked it.
"I don't know how early we can go to sleep today. Seeing you jealous is already quite a turn on for me. It makes you so cute and irresistible," Timothy said. Rosa suddenly blushed out entirely and turned shy before she started to run upstairs while hearing Timothy laughing downstairs to her reactions.
The night passed by seemingly peaceful today despite all that’s happened, but Timothy knows tomorrow is when it’ll all start. As soon as Arwin wakes up, he needs to begin his plans.
He wonders what kind of person Arwin was. What’s her driving force? Meanwhile, Silas from another place was thinking the exact same thing as he felt a shiver down his spine.
Silas muttered to himself as he caught himself, smiling, “I’ll learn how to manipulate you, Arwin.”
The next morning arrived as the sun touches Timothy’s face. He woke up; he immediately ate breakfast before heading towards the doctor's clinic His wife was still cooking some food; Rosa tried to stop him and shouts, “Are you leaving already? I cooked you your favorite!” “Thanks! I’ll be having them later! Save me some, okay?” Timothy shouts back as he left. He was more than eager to meet Arwin, but as he stepped inside, he saw Mark cleaning the office like usual. He thought of Mark as some clean freak kind of guy. Timothy’s eyes immediately searches for her clinic bed, and there he saw Arwin was still peacefully sleeping. It was a relief for him. "Hello, Mark, is the old man awake yet?" Timothy asked. Before the other man could answer, the doctor shouted out. "Yes, I'm in the kitchen. Come and join me for a cup of tea." “Well, you heard him,” Mark replied with such a straight face, he rarely shows emotions, and when he does- i
Arwin looked confusedly around her; she didn't recognize the current room where she was, but she recognized it as a clinic after watching a little bit around of her and seeing all of the things related to medicine. She could feel his head throbbing, an intense pain making her uncomfortable. She suddenly remembered how scare she felt last night. Arwin knew she couldn’t hear anything. But before she has the time to worry about herself, she suddenly saw an old man coming out from a door, and she put her guard up, but when she saw Timothy behind the old man, she relaxed somewhat before saying. It was a familiar silhouette, Arwin thought. She recognized the young man. "You saved me? Thank you so much, and sorry for being a burden. I haven't even caught your name, and you already brought me to a clinic." Arwin says as she sat back down on her hospital bed. "My name is Timothy, and the man next to me is Jonn, even when we mostly call him an old man o
When the doctor had gotten halfway through his story Timothy came in and asked immediately, "John, is Arwin at the condition to walk now, or do I have to wait?" "She's fine to walk; she just finished eating also, but take it slowly first and no fights or anything, okay?" The doctor replied curiously. It was interesting to see Timothy act urgently. “I can’t promise that, but I’ll make sure Arwin won’t be back here getting treatment from you today.” Timothy smiled mischievously The doctors smiled as he shook his head in disappointment. "Okay. Arwin, I think I found your pistol, but they refused to sell it to me, saying that you are the only one who can buy it directly. They were snickering and clearly looking down on you. They said you have this week to buy it before the auction as per rules. I have your papers here, and we can go there and demand your pistol. They even dare to laugh at my face when I said your name. They said I am a friend of wannabe f
After Arwin finished her inspection, she then looked at the tools and all of the things stacked next to the ship with a deep frown. Seeing this, someone from the audience shouted out, "Do you just plan to stare at it." "Stop pretending and give up already." Another one from the crowd yelled. The elder snickered at the rest of the crowd was booing and laughing at her. Arwin didn't care about the constant noise of ridicule around her. At that moment, she was in a world of her own. She was listing all the problems on the ship, noting them all inside her head. After looking it through, she took a pencil and wrote the answers to those questions that needed it. Some of the problems had to demonstrate and fix on the ship, and they were marked with a star, which could be dealt with later on. As soon as Arwin was done with the paper, the shouting began again. "What nonsense did you write there for you to finish that quickly?" th
"Hmmm… Tom… That is really interesting." The guild master muttered out while thinking something before he shouted out, "Tom, I know you are here! Come forward now." Tom, who was just about to leave, suddenly stiffened like a statue, gulped out nervously before turning around and walked towards the Guild Master. "Tom, I want the records from the examination. Where is the memory crystal? Do not tell me that some unfortunate thing happened to the memory crystal as well." The Guild Master asked out while sizing Tom up. He was clearly disappointed. Tom stammers, “I uh…uh.” But before Tom could even construct his sentence to answer the question, the other elder came forward and said, "Here are the records, Guild Master. I was interested in her since she should at least get some points. Yet, she got full zero, so I wanted to see the records myself." After saying that, the elder gave the records to the Guild Master. "Sir, we inspected the ship and the
Arwin was happily whistling while following the guild master. She completely forgot Timothy for now, who was having the worst crisis in his life now. He had finally found out a genuine mechanic, maybe even an airship captain, but she went and offended his boss child, and Silas was still an essential part of his plan like Arwin was. So what if Arwin would join the guild now where he would get another mechanic? Timothy’s fears are now being realized as he didn't even notice that Arwin had already left as he was pondering what he should do next. Arwin was clever, and Timothy knew that if he were in Arwin’s shoes, he’d immediately dismiss Silas’ offer- the guild can offer her twice as much. And here, she wouldn’t have to pretend she’s a guy. Timothy’s heart was racing as he was thinking what he should do. "So, as I said, you will randomly draw three of the items and two you can choose, but firstly let's see where your pistol is." The guild
The only way for me to survive the heist is by escaping from the city to the wilderness. They wouldn't be happy that their warehouse was looted, after all. I guess I still need Timothy to at least how know the outside world is looking like.' Arwin silently thought about her plan to rob the place. She also knew that she wouldn't be able to do it on her own and that she needed help from someone who is trustworthy enough. Arwin was still in deep thought when she noticed the Guild Master come out. "Your luck really is extraordinary. All of the items you got are in this backpack, that is also your third item, and it's another failed experience of a spatial space. Despite that, it still can store nearly seventy liters while the toolbox can only store near to ten liters." He explained. "As I said before, it's an experiment and could be unstable, so I won't guarantee that they won't explode later on. For the other two items, I guess I will let you check them
Arwin couldn't get the image of the ship out of head for even a second. Because of this, she aimlessly walked out of the guild. She also failed to remember what the Guild Master had told her after introducing the airship. Add to the fact that she didn't realize how the people who once were mocking her now were whispering her name in an excited manner as well. She didn’t care about anything else. When she also got outside, she just walked past the nervous Timothy, who was waiting for her patiently. Earlier, when he realized that he didn't know where Arwin went, he decided to wait for her outside of the main exit. Finally, when he saw Arwin, he waved at her and tried to call her name. After so much effort, he just ran towards her and stopped her. "Don't you recognize your first friend anymore? I tried to call you, but you just kept walking." Timothy said while trying to sound sorrowful; he looks away, “What? Just because they have a better offer, you’d
