Forgiving

Sebastian replied, "Yes. It was a warm welcome given to new guests like us. From the look in all those eyes, they're saying, 'Hello, welcome! How are you? I hope you're doing well because I am too. Let's be friends."

Amanda smiled seductively. "I know you're lying."

"If you already know that, then great." Sebastian nodded his head. "However, think of it as what I said earlier."

"If that's what you want, then I'll do it."

Without realizing it, Dean had already led them to the dining tables close to the bowling alley.

There, several people immediately stood up to greet Robert's arrival, including a bald middle-aged man with a very bushy beard.

That man was Harold Caldwell. With obvious enthusiasm, he came forward and without hesitation hugged Robert.

"Robert, you've come! This is the greatest gift to me," Harold said sincerely.

Robert felt somewhat surprised by Harold's warm welcome, but soon replied politely, "Harold, it's so good to see you again."
