The Speech

Eventually, Dean stood up from his seat and signaled the music operator to turn off all the sound.

After the music was turned off, Dean tapped his cup three times to get everyone's attention, before speaking out loud.

"My friends, my highly respected VIP audience, I humbly ask you all not to mind watching my little speech in the main tent."

Everyone fell silent, even though they were as noisy as mosquitoes before. Those people had a lot of respect for Dean as the host, or they might have some other relationship with him outside the context of this wedding.

Dean continued, "Ladies and gentlemen, you don't need to worry. For all the VIP guests, we will provide a special table that will emphasize your above-average standing."

When Dean finished saying that, everyone had smiles on their lips wet with the saliva of pride.

"Thank you all for your concern. My family will be very grateful."
