Chapter 31

Margaret's breath might have stopped for a while as Alexander spoke. Her eyes widened and she began to fidget. Her heart was hammering in her chest like she was going to have a seizure soon.

"Are you okay?" Alexander asked her and she nodded but she looked anything but. Her face was red and she was visibly hyperventilating. "Take a seat, is everything okay?" He asked, concerned with her sudden reaction.

Margaret nodded and grabbed into the edge of the table, slowly lowering herself to the seat. "I've been...it's..." She stammered but Alexander cut her in. "Calm down, I know that you just took over from Simon and all and you don't really know everything about the records but I think you can help," he said and she kept on staring at him like something was wrong. "I asked you the other day and I think you wanted to say something but there were too many faces, could you say it now?" He asked and she hummed.
