Chapter 21

The pledgers on team Pennsylvania got up, irritated, and demanded for the organizers. They felt their player was being sabotaged by the organizers. They demanded an audience for their concerns to be addressed.

One of the pledgers attempted to defuse the situation. But it only accelerated their tempers. There was a lot of money at stake and all they were asking for was a fair game.

Their viewing arena consisted of a large screen TV attached from one end of the wall to the other. There was a bar with various wines and alcoholic beverages from all over the world, with a large table. While the rest of the room had a personal private lounge with portable entertainment screens for each pledger with his own controls to choose which player they wanted to watch.

The room smelled of cigars, sweat, and raised testosterone as tempers were high with every person shouting at the next person. Filthy rich men who enjoyed watching violence and pain and did not mind throwing millions into the mix.
