Another player was out. Tension was building with most pledgers losing all their players. What was exciting was the fact that the slower players in the first games, those that had struggled with the reality of the games, were the ones shining, while those that shone in the first games were getting eliminated.It was a gamblers' game, and no one knew who was going to survive until the last game. Before nightfall came, another elimination was registered from Missouri. The player had walked into a convenience store and tried to shoplift from a lady, but the sales assistant caught him in the act. His downfall proved why the organizers chose a large mall for the players. It was chosen not to disadvantage the players, but to provide them with an advantage from other prying eyes and space to hide from the cameras. As was the case for South Carolina, whose shoplifting was picked up by the cameras in the store. She also chose a small convenience store. She shoplifted from an elderly woman and was almost at the door when the store manager ran out to stop her from escaping. The two players were instantly eliminated, making a total of five dead in game four. With all the players done with the task and an exemption of Texas, Game Four proved to be filled with a lot of exciting memories for the pledgers. They were all excited in anticipation of what they were going to see in Game Five.

After hours of trying to get her boss on the phone without success, Acer gave up. It was almost noon, and she needed to prepare for the fifth game. She spent entire hours of the morning watching and studying Texas, looking for anything she could use to force her bosses to activate the chip on her neck. However, there was nothing she could find. The contestants froze in horror, trying to grasp and picture themselves sleeping with a dead person. One player even went to the extent of vomiting their guts out. Washington was lost for words. He was still at the hospital when Acer's call popped up, forcing him to receive the call in the car park to avoid hearing walls. The cameras switched to Pennsylvania, erupting cheering from the pledgers. Almost all the pledgers enjoyed watching him. There was always something about the way the task freaked him out, which was a delight to watch and very entertaining. He was always among the first to take on the task but was always a wreck by the time he was done.They watched as he dressed up. He was one of the players that looked to have no problem with the challenge, even though he was married. He looked determined. His wife was in the bathroom preparing to go and visit their daughter. They were supposed to go together, but Pennsylvania saw it as an opportunity to deal with his task while his wife was away. She had no idea about the games or the contract her husband signed, and he wanted it to stay that way, especially if he failed to make it out alive from the games. Pennsylvania was trembling, glued to his spot as Karen's husband knelt over his wife's body his mouth agape.He was in a good position to look for a way out of the house, but his thoughts were elsewhere. He dashed up the stairs, searching every room for the murderers. He thought the organization was inside the house and they shot Karen despite the fact that she was holding the gun.Downstairs, the neighbors began knocking on the door. They had heard the moaning, which was followed by shouting and gunfire. Some had already called the police. Since the door was open, they began walking into the house to the horror of Karen's dead body in the arms of her husband, who kept yelling for her to open her eyes.The scene in front of them was not farfetched; they always knew Karen's presumptuous life was going to be her ending.
