Chapter 57

Texas finished brewing up the coffee in her safety room. Her daughter was still fast asleep, she was a sleeper and loved that about her. She did not deserve to be part of the blood bath happening upstairs.

For Texas, It was a normal night for her, and her behavior seemed to be that of one who had just received visitors over for a late-night chat or coffee.

She poured two cups and headed back to the kitchen. To her disappointment, the two players were not cleaning her kitchen, and the blood had begun clotting up.

Her face tensed up and her lips curved into a line. Washington noticed and quickly spoke up.

"The arrows are making it difficult for us to stretch and clean. You have to get them off," he suggested.

"What's the loop in the contract? Please tell us?" Louisiana pleaded. She appeared to have gotten out of her slumber.

Texas hissed in irritation and handed Alabama a cup of coffee, to which he nodded in refusal to her disappointment.
