The void was frozen, so one part of his skill was rendered completely useless. When the void was no longer frozen, it melted making it very dangerous to be hidden within it. Yu Chen experienced something that was not in his expectation. He saw a wave of complete white and a wave of complete red. The white came from the right side of the Cauldron and the red came from the left side of the Cauldron. Yu Chen stood at the center and he watched the two sides sweep through the surrounding as if it was closing in on him. And finally, it slammed upon Yu Chen and he experienced the sensation of being cooked and at the same time mended and frozen. Heat and cold intertwined with each other until Yu Chen used Tendrils of Abisills. This was just an innate affinity. And instantly, his Miasma energy was shoved in half. If It was 100 before, now it is 50 and a wall of black tendrils rose from the ground. It sealed itself together before sweeping through the surrounding void. His already 50 Miasma energy plummeted to 20 then dropped to 5 and emptied completely. The wall of tendrils started to dissipate. This Miasma energy is simply made for summoning and Yu Chen had just used it to activate an affinity. Normally, Death Energy can also activate his affinities, but the demand would have been too high. If Yu Chen had used Death Energy instead of Miasma to activate Tendrils of Abisills, the wall would not have taken shape and his death energy would become zero. What he lacked at this moment is energy capacity. His energy were not always enough, the only way to improve the capacity is by killing... Yu Chen sighed and he stepped upon the boundary between the sixth depth and the seventh depth. The seventh depth was death. Yu Chen did not he was ready to face death again. Right now, he needed to be sure that his Miasma energy must have accumulated back to full before venturing into the last Cauldron. Normally, since the total amount of Miasma he had was 100, it took only fifty seconds for the Miasma to accumulate back to full. Yu Chen was not yet in a hurry. He wanted to be able to summon underworld creatures that would be the bait that allows him to cross the death plain unscathed. He had experienced death once and he did not want to experience it again. It was all too horrifying. Yu Chen spent three days mastering the Underworld Summon affinity. And on the fourth day, he decided to summon his first underworld creatures. Normally, the creatures to be summoned would without doubt be numerous. Underworld Summon dragged more than half of his Miasma and a black circle manifested on the floor before him. He saw bones and skulls protruding from the empty ground. They shuttled back and forth and annihilating wisp of Miasma swept through the atmosphere. His Miasma energy reduced to 20. Red light began to flicker about and the ground rumbled. It even showed sign of cracks. Yu Chen took a deep breath and Miasma flooded out of him, and the one in his soul remained just 10. A strange creature with bone protrusions emerged. Many more of the creatures emerged... A summoned creature would definitely go against the summoner so, Yu Chen knew that he had to complete the summoning or else lose control of the horde of underworld creatures. But unfortunately, his Miasma energy drained away and the black circle vanished, leaving behind a creature filled with nothing but bloodlust. The killing intent was too high that Yu Chen subconsciously gulped. Even he would not successfully defeat multitudes of these undead creatures. It was time for the seventh depth... Death! He immediately stepped in and an unimaginable pressure knocked him to the ground. Yu Chen immediately started bleeding from his seven orifices, his eyes turning bloodshot. Then, the first underworld creature stepped in with it's killing intent evident and it was knocked to the ground. When the undead creature was been knocked to the ground, Yu Chen felt a subtle release and he stood up, but the moment he saw the undead turning into a pile of bones and ashes, the force knocked him to the ground again with the intent to crush him to a bloody pulp. Then, two undead charged in, followed by four more and then, a dozen of them. Yu Chen no longer felt the crippling pressure. He was now sweating profusely as he watched how the multitudes of underworld creatures were smashed and reduced to piles of bones and ashes. 'This is troublesome...' Yu Chen turned as he headed for the end of the Cauldron but... It seem like this part of the Cauldron had it's own killing intent. The same pressure knocked him down. Yu Chen felt blood drip from his nose. He knew that it would not be easy to survive the seventh depth. Realizing the nature of this depth, it kindled the hatred he had for his master to a much steeper level. Although she must have enlightened him with the path after death, still she clearly hated him. She called him useless and pathetic. Yu Chen looked at the horde of underworld creatures, only a few managed to keep walking towards the end of the Cauldron while the rest were been smashed completely. "Yes, yes, yes... Much closer. Much closer... you're getting there." Yu Chen could use this undead creatures to escape the immense pressure. Yu Chen saw his Hp drop continuously and eventually reached a level of 27/100. This is bad. If he is unable to escape and falls into slumber and his underworld creatures are completely annihilated, he himself would be finished! Yu Chen had used the hordes to undo the pressure from the seventh depth which was a taboo and if these hordes are eradicated, the pressure that would descend upon him is not something that Yu Chen would be able to survive. While the undead creatures were slowly advancing, him he endured the power from the pressure as he slowly crawled his way to the boundary. But it was difficult! Yu Chen turned back and the hordes had just been eradicated which turned the malice of the seventh depth towards the other escaping undead creatures. "Sh * t" Yu Chen cursed as he watched the creatures been caught up in the pressure and swallowed each. When the storm receded, only piles of bones and ashes were left. With the last resort left, Yu Chen activated Tendrils of Abisills using his Miasma energy. All these escape moment took less that 50 seconds and his Miasma energy had climbed to 53 during that span. But after activation, it dropped back to 30 and continued plummetting. Yu Chen used the wall of tendrils which must had sealed together to protect himself from the crippling pressure. The wall of tendrils twisted and warped and at the same time, it pressed down upon Yu Chen. Quickly, he controlled the surrounding void and he saw himself at the other end of the seventh depth. He took one step into the boundary and that was when his Miasma reached zero the killing pressure plummeted causing even the ground to tremble that dust scattered from it. Yu Chen exhales.
