Chapter 004 – Getting Released

*****

“See, I will be honest with you. You aren’t the first to be brought here for having designs on the young master’s woman, but many who thought they‘d be able to avenge themselves were long dead since the young master is not just a nobody, but the son of the Police Department’s Commissioner. You can’t sue us or him, so, you should just forget anything called revenge and travel as far away as you can from the young master’s woman, otherwise…”

The person, probably the only human being who still has a trace of humanity in him within the police station sighed and then stood up after applying ointment to the last spot on Mark.

“You can leave after wearing this,” The person threw a pair of pants and a shirt at Mark, and then they turned around and left.

Mark remained seated and wouldn’t react for a moment. He appeared unusually calm and quiet at the moment, only he knowing what was on his mind.

Eventually, without still having any emotion, not even the slightest fluctuation of it, Mark stood up while cringing madly at the great agony that was transmitted to his brain from the single movement.

He shut his eyes and clenched his fists, also biting his teeth hard against each other to keep him from crying out. He finally wore the oversized clothes.

Done, Mark looked around, at the place where he was now certain that would give him scary nightmares from then on and then he forcefully dragged his feet to the exit, unable to lift them at all while he ignored the killing pain each movement was causing him.

Mark spared no glance at the cop members who were happily mocking him when they saw him leaving; his silence and calmness were just so scary that some of the cop members felt slightly uncomfortable, but they completely ignored the feeling since they were certain that Mark would never be able to do anything to them.

Only if they knew better...

As soon as Mark got out of the building, the sunlight that pierced his eyes immediately made him shut them tightly.

But suddenly, they were snapped open in the next moment and before anybody knew it, the scary calmness that Mark had been holding was destroyed, and a massive amount of hatred that made hearts pound oozed out of him.

His eyes turned completely red, and he went insane, shooting out an amount of hatred that no human being should have ever had for another person.

It was a level of hatred that would turn someone into a beast, knowing nothing other than causing pain to the world and making the owner of the hatred the greatest human enemy and number one villain of all time.

"You..." he growled like a beast, glaring at the three people standing in his front who had mockery and not even the slightest trace of pity etched on their faces.

“Me, what?” Gazing at Mark as though he were a clown, Gab, who was presently embracing Rebbeca tightly and proudly playing with her butt as though it were a toy asked with a mockery tone and facial expression. His eyes, however, were constantly flashing at Mark with coldness, as though he still wasn’t done with him yet.

“Muhahahaha… Look at him. I almost wasn’t able to recognize you again; it looks like you’ve been served what was befitting of you,” Rebecca’s mother also mocked.

“I love you so much, hubby!” Rebecca turned to Gab and gave him a deep kiss, then she began to laugh at Mark, mocking his look and praising her man.

Mark began to breathe at the top of his lungs, trying to hold back his great rage from getting out of hand, but he finally lost it, and he was about to unleash it when Gab, who as expected wasn’t done with him opened his mouth again and spoke.

“You are still here when you should rush home to go save your filthy and trashy mother and sister.”

Mark, “_”

His head suddenly stopped working, and then his heart skipped and began to pound in his chest.

He was overcome by an abrupt fear.

“You… you… you. What... what have you done to… to my family?”

His voice became raspy and dark, but as though they didn’t feel the scary emotion in it, the three exchanged gazes and then burst out laughing.

Rebecca’s mother then mockingly imitated him. "You... you... you... what have you done to... to my family?”

“You better go now before they say goodbye to the world,” Rebecca laughed out loud, acting as though what was happening was the best thing she could ever witness in her life

“I… I…”

Mark became so greatly agitated that without another thought, he turned around and began to limp-run away, not minding the greater and worse pain it was causing him.

“Look at him. Hahaha. Such a fool. That's what you get for daring to lay your foul hand on my man!” Rebecca giggled happily.

“He can actually still run; it looks like those bastards hadn’t touched him at all,” Gab voiced out angrily.

“Future son-in-law, you are the best." Rebbeca's mother laughed like a witch. "What an entertaining movie you are giving me.”

Although Mark heard all this, he couldn’t be troubled now, as he had something much more urgent and bothering in his hysterically pounding heart at this moment.

“Mother…”

“Sister…”

He began to pray fervently that nothing had happened to them.
