"Master Ravee, what is the meaning of this?"

One of the men in black asked what was on everyone's mind. These people were all the elite members called the Man Hunters. Any of them would be able to take care of a council member if paid enough.

Al'ravee set his now cold gaze on the lad who had just spoken. Forgive me..." He started as he let go of the bloody heart. "...I know how much he meant to you all, I was there when he watched you grow up, as he cared for you and trained you. He trained you well, he also trained me.

He and I had a grudge. He's the only one still alive from rest *sigh*, He might have forgotten, but I didn't, I never forget. But I'm also grateful, he led me on my path, so I gave him a death that was less painful than what I wanted.

You would have found out anyway, so I killed him today on our annual retreat.

Now, avenge him while you still can."

Al'ravee said nothing more. Brushing the lower part of the robe aside, he took a firm step forward that made all the Man Hunters shiver.

From what they heard, this man was using a demonic technique that made him nearly immortal and impervious to physical damage, so they heard. After all, he only looked twenty years older than when he first came.

Although he had no weapons on him, that did not reduce his lethality. They had also heard that he had mastered many martial arts techniques.

Plus, what did he mean by 'the only one still alive'? Did he kill the rest, but they all died naturally... right?

"Bastard, I'll kill you"

One of the Man Hunters could no longer hold his emotions and rushed forward. They were taught to not let their emotions get in their way but the man lying on the floor was just too important to them, calling him their father wouldn't be a stretch.

Al'ravee watched the young man run towards him with amazing speed. The distance between him and the Man Hunters was about fifteen meters but was covered in a few seconds.

Just as the man reached Al'ravee and drew out his sword, the latter's body seemed to lean forward for a moment.

*SH!!! CRACK!!*

Al'ravee's hand seemed to have become a blur as he ruthlessly pierced into the young man's chest, the ribs were no obstacle for him, so he dug out the heart. All done in one fluid, graceful motion.

*PLOP*

The light of life faded out from the Man Hunter's eyes as his body fell like a ragdoll. He had felt pain but died before he could shout out.

"Heart Ripper technique. A lot of wasted movement, but I like its creativity"

Al'ravee waved his hand to get rid of the dripping blood and the heart. He saw the flash of surprise and rage in the eyes of his juniors. Letting out a chuckle of satisfaction, he said " Why so surprised?, I said you can avenge him. I didn't say I would make it easy for you"

"You.." One of the ladies among them tried to insult him but couldn't find the right word. " You… monster. Have you no conscience?"

Al'ravee raised an eyebrow at her. "I hope not, but that's a bit hypocritical coming from you..." He stated for all to hear.

Suddenly, Al'ravee tilted his head to the side. The movement was so fast, that one would be afraid that his neck might snap.

*BANG*

The wall of the structure behind him immediately gained a hole. With narrowed eyes, Al'ravee stared at a dark area in the distance to his upper left. One of them had already hidden in the shadows, he knew.

Using the opportunity where they thought Al'ravee was distracted, the man hunters immediately spread out and charged into the shadows of the surrounding structures.

Seeing this, Al'ravee couldn't help but smirk in amusement. This was just how he wanted it, was a showdown too much to ask?

*silence*

The entire courtyard was quiet, so quiet, it felt like he was the only one in the entire courtyard.

*WHOOSH!*

Al'ravee suddenly found himself surrounded by enemies coming from all angles, even from above. Swords drawn, knives out, and guns aimed. The trigger-happy lot were already pulling on the trigger.

In Al'ravee's vision, this all seemed to be happening a little bit slowly. After spending so many years getting used to high-speed movement, these experts were pretty much walking like a normal person to him.

Part of this was also because his body didn't produce adrenaline, in return allowing his brain to adapt and his reaction speed to get better over time.

With breakneck speed, he reached out to grab the outstretched arm of a slim man holding a dagger. Viciously slamming the latter's body into another man-hunter to his side while simultaneously dodging a few bullets aimed at his torso and head as he crouched and gave a leg sweep to two people at once.

This was why he was better than every one of them. With his ability to multitask and having a body that could endure so many intense movements, he was just too much for these Man Hunters.

Some bullets managed to hit the man hunters, reducing the number of enemies he had to face. Al'ravee didn't waste time, letting go of the broken arm, he formed a fist and shot it at another man with an electric baton.

*CRACK*

The man's chest caved in as he flew off the floor. His fellow hunters ignored him as they rushed at Al'ravee with uncertainties in their eyes.

Al'ravee dodged and blocked attacks while not giving the shooters the satisfaction of shooting him. He kicked behind him at the crotch area of a man who was a few inches away from stabbing him in the back.

The resulting scream of pain made the males around feel cold air pass in between their legs. A masked woman who didn't know what was good for her closed in on Al'ravee before she suddenly felt a firm hand grab onto her breast with a firm grip.

*RIP!!*

"Aaaaaaarrgghhh!"

Her loud cry of agony stopped a lot of women in their tracks but it was too late.

*Crack!*

*Swish!*

*Snap!*

*Tshii!*

*Pushi!*

The sound of bones breaking and flesh being ripped apart filled the area, many Man Hunters did not even get to see how they died.

*Ratatatatatatatatatata*

Like a ghost, Al'ravee rushed around the courtyard while escaping bullet rains by a few millimeters. Killing them off, one after another.

Great martial arts experts of the world, the types that normal people would need heavy or rapid-fire firearms to kill, the types that one could go a lifetime without catching them off guard, were dying like flies like it was nobody's business.

'This is what being a killing machine feels like, it's quite exhilarating.' Al'ravee quietly thought to himself as he massacred his juniors.

#################

*Thirty-two years later*

"... And that is the story of the legendary fighter," Al'ravee spoke to the twenty-odd children in front of him. Wearing a nice black and white suit he concluded his story.

"Daddy, the legendary fighter is not so nice, beating up his friends like that is bad." Said a little girl.

Al'ravee shook his head. "Remember, this man has a weird character, he doesn't need a reason to do anything, he just does it."

"Hmph, that still makes him a bad man" A fat teenager gave his opinion.

Al'ravee smiled wryly at this. If he could become a powerful god before they died then these children could become mighty demigods under him, at least, he hoped so. Maybe they would understand by then. This made him remember Eva and his first children.

"Anyways, that's that. You all should get ready for school." He said before walking out of the room quickly.

Currently, he looks younger than thirty-two years ago with a less bulky physique, but still very muscular nonetheless. After his last 'death', he could confirm that other than the law of mortality which made him age slower and slower, there was something else enabling him to resurrect.

He could feel it.

Al'ravee felt accomplished these days. He had started feeling his soul like Ris said he would. He knew it was near, he was expecting his parent's special preparation any decade now.

But for now, he still had something to do.

He had already squeezed a lot into the last thirty-two years. Recovering his assets both legally and illegally and brainwashing the remaining children of the hidden gem temple into his loyal dogs like the previous elders did, it wasn't hard to build a standard business empire within seven years with the initial capital he had.

Real estate, tech, service provision, food, he had his fingers in all of them.

Although he never got to be among the top ten richest people in the world, the wealth he accumulated was more than enough for what he was going to do next.

He pursued world domination with a terrifying passion.

He gathered the support of the poor masses with some philanthropy and a bit of propaganda.

Al'ravee literally caused a war that lasted for ten years and spanned across the continent with many nations from overseas interfering.

He sponsored terrorists, he ordered assassinations, nukes were deployed, and new weapons were manufactured.

It wasn't until the third year that the common people found out that it was the philanthropist who was usually ignored that was responsible for initiating the war.

But it was too late, multiple lines had been drawn and sides had been chosen.

A lot of people died and Al'ravee was already thinking of expanding but he had had no choice but to stop and consolidate his unstable power and influence.

He built a harem with more than ten concubines from accepting political marriages from different factions, having to be careful with the type of women he surrounded himself with, he ended up fathering more than forty children.

Sometimes he felt disgusted with himself yet satisfied because most mortal men would never have the guts or ability to reach his level of accomplishment.

It was time for one of the last things on his to-do list.

He wanted to learn, yes, learn.

Math, languages, science subjects, and arts. Al'ravee has always wanted to know how it felt to be one of the most knowledgeable men in the world. Hopefully, with his near-photographic memory, this won't be a problem.

[Current Age: 255 years old ]
