"Covenglory?" Cesare narrowed his eyes as he asked Piere. In confusion, Piere nodded and smiled, then said again, "I don't know the Covenglory family."

"I am Cesare Wills. I am not from the Covenglory family. You may have misunderstood." Cesare tried to explain to Piere, but Piere just smiled. Piere stood beside the bed with his hands together and looked at Cesare with great respect.

"Why don't you believe me, Young Master? You are indeed from the Covenglory family. You should believe this." Piere explained very politely. But Cesare just shook his head.

Cesare felt more and more strange about this situation. He began to remember things until he started to get nervous.

"No, no. I think you've misunderstood. Someone just dragged me and beat me into unconsciousness. They sold me to someone." Cesare spoke so fast that his breathing became laboured. This time, his chest rose and fell with the rhythm of his breathing. Also, his head was throbbing at the same time.

"Wait, is Covenglory the place where I was sold!?" His eyes were fixed straight on Piere, and he began to look at Piere warily.

"Young Master, you are the one who misunderstood here. Covenglory is not where you were sold, but Covenglory is your family name." Piere paused his sentence to sigh for a moment, then said again, "As for the people who held you, they have all received their punishment."

"Got their punishment? And stop lying to me!" Cesare was getting more and more confused and could not understand this quickly. He scratched the nape of his non-itchy head.

"Yes, they have all been punished, and we saved you, Young Master," Piere explained very carefully, but Cesare could not accept this easily. Of course, he was still wondering in his mind.

"This is very strange. It's really strange. I don't understand how I can suddenly be in this place and then you call me young Master, then say that I'm Covenglory's family. Are you joking?"

"Of course, Young Master. Let us explain something. Please sit down, Young Master." Piere again invited Cesare to return to his seat. Cesare finally sat back on the edge of the bed, feeling very uneasy and full of questions.

"Your mother was Aira Covenglory, but her marriage was opposed by her family and she married Dylan Wills, that's why your family name is different from the great mistress Covenglory."

Of course, Piere's statement left Cesare shocked. During his lifetime, his parents had never mentioned the matter. Then suddenly, someone he just met said something surprising about his family.

Cesare immediately got up from the bed and looked at Piere's face very sharply. "I hope you're not making fun of me right now." Cesare emphasized the word, but Piere responded very calmly and politely.

"How could I dare to toy with you, if you are our young master?" Piere continued to try to convince Cesare by referring to him as the young Master.

"But this is hard to believe. I've never even heard of the Covenglory family. I don't know about that family either. Can you give me an explanation?" Although he felt doubtful, Cesare still asked Piere. He looked at Piere with a look that was difficult to interpret.

"The Covenglory family is a very wealthy family. They have tremendous wealth and are very influential." Piere gave another explanation.

Cesare's doubts began to fade a little. Right now, he was in a room so luxurious that it convinced Cesare that everything Piere said was true. But he was speechless for now.

"You should discuss this matter with Madame Diana herself. She has the right to tell you about everything." Piere's statement made Cesare's brow furrow.

Just now, Cesare thought that his family did not want to see him, so they sent Piere to discuss this, but that thought was immediately broken by Piere's words.

"So I can meet Lady Diana?" Cesare asked hesitantly, and Piere immediately nodded.

"Of course and you can see her right now. Please." Piere invited Cesare with a slight bow as a sign for Cesare to get up and walk out of the room.

Cesare immediately got up and followed Piere's direction. When he left the room, Cesare could see the true splendour of the house. Not only that, but he also saw the entire room filled with valuable items and ornaments that were very beautiful and luxurious. Finally, Piere led Cesare to one of the rooms he had just opened the door to.

"Have a seat." Piere invited me very politely. After Cesare sat down, Piere also sat in front of him and poured tea for Cesare.

At that moment, Cesare saw a woman in front of him in a wheelchair. She was Diana. And for a few seconds, they stared at each other.

"Perhaps you are very confused under the circumstances, but I must tell you everything right away." Diana said very calmly. Her eyes never left Cesare's either.

"I have never married and certainly have no offspring. But the Covenglory family must have a successor, because I am currently very ill as well. That's why I asked them to pick you up." Diana explained everything to Cesare.

Actually, Diana had asked someone to observe Cesare for several years. She purposely wanted to see whether or not Cesare was fit to take her place. Finally, she saw for herself and decided to save Cesare and decide Cesare to be her successor.

"All this time I have been very close to Aira. Even very close. That's why I was so angry when Aira chose a difficult life with Dylan. And all this is evident to you." To this day, Diana still regrets her sister's decision.

"I think you've misunderstood. My mother has lived a very happy life. Although she lived a simple life, there was no sadness in my mother." Cesare explained and refuted Diana's claim that his family lived a hard life.

"We just met. Then how can you be so sure that I have abilities?" Cesare asked cautiously, and Diana smiled.

They have trapped you in a debt and heavy pressure." Diana exhaled harshly and then gave Cesare a sharp glare. "You must repay them." Diana emphasized that word to Cesare very firmly.

Diana still remembered how the Covenglory family had been trampled by others who were more fantastic and more decadent than them. Finally, Diana worked very hard, and slowly, her company began to grow significantly. And now Covenglory is so big that no company can beat it. So she was sure Cesare could quickly bring down anyone insulting him.

Cesare was silent for a while. "I'll think things over. I need a little time." Everything happened so quickly that Cesare couldn't decide right away.

Diana moved her hand, then a large album brought by Piere and given to Cesare. Very hesitantly, Cesare looked at it until. Finally, Cesare saw many pictures of his mother. And at this time, he became sad as well as nostalgic. Then Cesare was sure that the woman before him was his sister.

Suddenly, his doubts disappeared after seeing the entire photo album. Then he looked back at Diana and asked, "If I were the successor, what would I have?"

Diana smiled and said, "If you can behave as you should, then you can own the world." Of course, Diana's words made Cesare very surprised.
