Westminster's eyes widened. “What did you just say?”

“How would you like to complete the free renewable energy project?” Robert Doberman repeated himself.

Westminster didn't think he heard correctly. “Robert Doberman, I haven't heard from you in like three years and here you are asking me if I wanted to complete the renewable energy project?”

Robert Doberman sighed. “You were the one who forgot about me, Westminster. I'm sure you're aware of my clan's financial crises and yet you refused to reach out to me.”

Westminster felt another pang of guilt hit him. “Look, Robert, when you're a man in my position, you're faced with gigantic responsibilities and—”

“With all due respect, your excellency, I don't care,” Robert Doberman said. “I only called because I've met an investor who's interested in supporting your project.”

Westminster found a chair and sat down. He wanted to digest this information in his bloodstream.
