Immediately after Sean ended the call with his family, his phone rang again.

“Yes, Caron, what’s the matter?” Sean asked softly. This time it was a woman Sean liked calling, and this woman was called Caron. Sean liked Caron because Caron used to feed him when he was hungry and had no money in his pocket.

Caron twisted off the phone after saying, “I’m waiting for you at the mall now, don’t be late!” Sean, on the other hand, grinned at her.

Sean headed straight to the mall to meet his girlfriend without stopping at his apartment first.

“Why are you late?” Caron immediately scolded Sean. At this time, Caron was waiting for Sean in the hotel lobby with a sullen face.

“I have the money, but not this much, Caron. You know where I get my money from, right?” Sean tried to speak softly to persuade his lover.

“I don’t want to know Sean, I want this dress!” Caron remained firm in her stance.

Sean took something out of his wallet. “I only have this Caron!”

“What? $100? Sean, are you kidding me? I want $1,000, not Sean. With this amount of money, I can buy everything I need!” Charon picks up a dress and returns to the shelf. Stomping his feet, Caron exited the clothing store.

“Wait for Caron.” Sean chased Caron as he walked down the hallway of the mall.

Caron insulted Sean, saying, “What else do you want to embarrass me with? It looks like I was wrong to expect anything from a poor man like you.” It was clear that Caron had been taking advantage of Sean from the start, but Sean, who was blind, could not see the true nature of Caron’s wrongdoing.

“You will regret doing this to me!” Sean, running out of patience, finally left the place.

Sean cursed, “Ah, shit!” as he stood at the bus stop and realized he had run out of money. He had given his last $100 to Caron earlier, and now he was left with no money for the next three days.

"Yes, it really is a dream. I'm sure I should fall asleep right now so that this delusion will disappear soon," said Sean, who couldn't believe what he was seeing even though the man also felt pain after slapping himself.

Sean eventually fell asleep, believing that what he saw was an illusion. The man fell asleep with the hunger that had evaporated somewhere after getting the notification from his account.
