CHAPTER 42

Everyone was still gazing around trying to see who that person was when Jason stepped up to the chief, his voice filled with frustration and anger.

“What caused this delay?”

he demanded. The lady standing nearby looked shocked and taken aback, her entire body vibrating. She wasn't expecting to see such a thing—a mire student, someone she had looked down upon.

“So he knew the boss.”

She quietly whispers to herself.

Immediately the chief began to apologize.

“Mr. Jason, I'm so sorry for the delay. I got the call and ran as quickly as my legs could carry me. Please forgive me.”

He bow his head 90 degrees.

but Jason wasn't interested in excuses. He quickly moved to Derek with a sense of urgency.

“Derek, hold on, you will be fine. Please be strong.”

He couldn't still feel Derek breathing, but it was growing weaker every minute.

“Lead the way.”

Immediately, the boss ordered the nurse to move Derek into the VIP room to get quality treatments.

“Get moving.”
