11. New Spirit

He took a deep breath. “Alright. Let’s do it together,” he said, which immediately made the others smile.

“That’s right,” Gio said happily.

Leon just smiled a little, starting to realize that they had come as a team, not as individuals. He didn’t know why they were there, but Leon’s instincts told him that it had something to do with him.

“Alright. Then, let’s discuss it so we can start moving tomorrow,” Sean suggested. The bookworm seemed to be a good talker and seemed to really enjoy talking. Leon didn’t mind since Sean was the opposite, with the man near him Leon felt better.

They came closer to discuss, dividing the tasks between each of them.

“First, tomorrow at noon we have to gather as much information as possible. After that we find out what caused the people of Summer Village to not be able to go out at night,” Sean said, conveying what was on his mind.

“Since the journey to the tower is long, try to gather as much food as possible. It could be that on the next trip, we won’t be able to get a place to stay and will end up sleeping in a tent,” Leon added.

“Alright. "Later, Gio and I will prepare the equipment and whatever we need," Viona said while remembering. Amazingly, the girl also wrote down everything they might need.

"What about Zenata?"

This time all eyes were on the girl who was still the same, motionless on her bed.

"We don't know anything about Zenata, and can't peek at her powers or talents," Viona said.

Leon turned his gaze back to the table and said, "We'll see tomorrow. Zenata must be shocked and maybe sick because Azlan said no one survived when facing the Faceless One. Zenata was lucky."

Sean nodded. "Yeah. Maybe it's okay, it seems the same with us."

"Okay."

"I've paid for this lodging for a week, so there's still time to gather a lot of information and equipment. If you face danger, don't face it alone," Leon said again. "Let's make a rule," he suggested.

Leon took out a small notebook from his small bag and put it on the table.

"Let's fill it in together in turns." Leon's gaze shifted to them in turn.

“Okay. You guys can start first, Le,” Sean said.

The boys nodded and started writing down the rules that they had to obey together.

Do not break the rules that apply in every village that is passed.

Always be together and alert

Do not split up

If there is danger, let us know immediately.

Do not fight alone. As a team, we are strong.

Help each other.

“Is that all?” Leon looked back at them.

“That’s all for now. We can fill it in again if something happens,” Viona suggested.

“Okay. Come on, sign it, I’ll send it to your system so you always remember it.”

They agreed the signatures were fingerprints, not pen signatures so that they could more easily take Zenata’s fingerprints so that the rules would apply to all five of them.

“If anyone breaks them, our points will be deducted and we will be weakened,” Leon said. Along with his words, the rules that were written together appeared in each system and blinked once indicating that the rules were official.

Once, and again Leon looked at the three of them, making sure that the faces were ones he would remember.

"From now on you are my friends, and we will do this together. Let's go back together without any of the five of us left behind," Leon said.

“Sure. Let’s do it together and conquer the evil in this world,” Gio said with a big smile.

“Okay. I’d be happy to join too. We’ll do anything here, whatever we might face later, let’s stay together,” Sean continued.

“I won’t be left behind and will try my best to always help. Let’s stay together until the end.” Viona added.

Smiles adorned their faces as they looked at each other. The passion they had pushed them forward.

“Even though it’s disgusting or annoying, I don’t want to be left behind.”

All eyes immediately turned to behind Leon where Zenata was standing. The girl had woken up. Leon immediately stood up from his seat and invited Zenata to sit on the chair.

“I’ll just come along so I can go back soon. I don’t want to stay here too long, this place is so annoying and disgusting,” Zenata said again.

“Tsk. “Just woke up but your mouth is still annoying,” Gio said sarcastically.

Zenata didn’t care because that was how it was.

"Then, let's do it together. Stay together until the end. Look after and protect each other no matter what," Leon said holding back his smile. The man reached out to the middle of the table followed by Sean, Gio, Viona then Zenata on top of the other stack of hands. "Stay strong!" They cheered together.

The new spirit that was triggered made them unable to hold back their smiles. They were still young so their energy and adventurous souls were still very large. Sean's curiosity, Zenata's annoying spoiled attitude, Viona's warm kindness, Gio's chatter that lightened the atmosphere, and the last one was Leon, the man still kept many things from his cold attitude and the soul of a leader that resided in him accompanied by an unexpected destiny.

Five teenagers who were trapped in a foreign dimension. Where they would find many things. Can they do mission after mission to be able to return?

"It's still early, let's just sleep so that tomorrow our stamina is full," said Sean whose face was starting to look tired because of sleepiness.

Viona laughed. "I'm tired too. Let's just sleep."

"Okay, I'll go back to sleep. Don't wake me up before I wake up myself," said Gio who had walked towards his bed. They left Leon who was still sitting with Zenata.

"You go back to sleep too. It must still hurt," Leon said to Zenata.

The girl just nodded and then got up from her seat to return to her bed. But then she stopped to speak to Leon. "I've never said this to anyone, no matter who it is. However, I apologize in advance and thank you."

Leon fell silent upon hearing Zenata's words. Leon knew how Zenata, a spoiled, arrogant, and selfish girl, never apologized or thanked anyone. Leon just smiled and let Zenata go back to sleep.

Still standing there, Leon turned on his system to search for other information about the dimension and the tower that was their destination.

When morning finally greeted them. Leon who was ready to go down and maybe even ready to look for anything at that time just sat at the table, waiting for the others. The window of the room was already opened, showing the bright view outside. The blue sky without clouds was seen stretching out of the wooden framed window."Do you think this village holds something?" The girl was very noisy in the bathroom, complaining, cursing, and even getting angry for no reason. Of course, a rich girl like Zenata must live in luxury where her bathroom must have a toilet or other place than the shabby bathroom that was there now."That girl is so annoying," complained Gio.Leon did no

The point is, it’s my advantage. And if you are injured, I will treat them according to my duties. Understand?” Zenata confirmed.“Okay.
