20. The Crazy Wish

“I don't even have time to waste” Vincent said when he saw that time was not by his side , the invitation says that the party will start by 8pm and it's already 7pm.

“ I don't have time to think of the clothes to wear and the mask to wear “ Vincent said to himself and forgot about his wish.

Once his bath was complete, he donned his best attire: a slightly worn white shirt and faded black trousers, meticulously pressed and cared for, despite the evidence of time's passing.

He smoothed out every crease, taking pride in presenting himself as best he could. Over the years, Vincent had learned that neatness and simplicity could outweigh the extravagance of wealth.

As he stood in front of the cracked mirror, he ruffled his unruly hair with his fingers, embracing the untamed look that marked his individuality.
