Chapter Ninety one

Rhys’s world went dark, his consciousness slipping away very fast and no matter how he tried to remain awake, the drug coursing in his blood forced him to the deepest part of his mind. All efforts was futile. He couldn’t move, couldn’t speak, couldn’t even open his eyes. He was trapped in a prison of his own body, unable to escape the horrors that awaited him.

But he wasn’t bothered, he realized that his consciousness could still enter the inter-dimensional space and from there he could get a means to free himself but still, he waited; waited to see why he was taken and the people involved. So he spent more time with Rio who helped him while he went through life threatening methods to gain more strength

After days passed, Rhys’s mind slowly returned to his body. He was met with a blur of faces, voices, and equipment beeping around him. He tried to speak, but his voice was barely a whisper. His body felt heavy, weighed down by an invisible force.
