Chapter eighty seven

Right on the bedside table was her phone, Elena grabbed it but as she turned it on, she was greeted with the fact that she had twenty missed calls; all from a restricted number that kept having a chance to contact her despite the number of times she changed her number. Elena stared at the missed call messages, worried it was related to the person that tried to abduct her the previous night.

It was the why that bothered her.

At that precise moment when she was brooding about the decision to make, her phone rang, displaying the restricted call in the caller ID. Elena was livid about the invasion of her personal space. She contemplated on whether or not to answer it but she changed her mind in the end. She tossed the phone to the side. Elena refused to answer the call, she refused to give him the satisfaction of answering the call. She wanted to act as if the call and the significance hadn’t even registered on her mind.
