Chapter eighty

Christopher looked at his son in disbelief as he inquired once again. “What is happening?” This was the first time the intruder alarm was going off on him. But why? Last time he checked, he was still a member of the Fernandez family, why then would he be treated like an intruder in his own home.

“That was also what happened to me earlier, I asked that dumb guard to find out the reason for the sudden glitch but he said I should deal with it all on my own.” Atlas eyes narrowed as he tried to come up with various reasons for the alert.

‘Could it be that my activities have been discovered?’ Christopher asked himself inwardly, he looked around but did not see any changes in the guards stance, they just pretended as if the father and son pair were inexistent. Christopher quickly shook his head at the thought of that. He tried once again but neither his fingerprint nor iris were recognized by the security sensor.
