Chapter eighty one

It wasn’t easy to tell whether it was because his uncle begged him or it was of his own choice, Rhys simply let go of Atlas, allowing him to fall on the ground like a pack of card. “You!” Christopher hissed and pointed at Rhys as he saw his son gasping out loud for breath.

“Yes uncle,” Rhys turned towards his uncle and said with a voice that was so sweet that it caused goosebumps to appear all over Christopher’s body. The smile on Rhys face chilled him to the bones. “You asked me to let him go and that’s what I did.”

“Why do you have to attack your cousin that way? You both are like brothers.” He instantly changed his words in order not to infuriate Rhys any further. Seeing as his son was still within Rhys reach, there was no doubt that he might simply attack Atlas again if he was offended.
