Chapter fifty three

Dr. Melendez, the doctor who had operated on Lowry was both tired and hungry and he wanted to go home and sleep for at least twelve hours but that won’t be happening anytime soon because Alessandro and Lydia had come to see him in his office. Lydia was the most aggressive, wanting to know when Rhys would wake up and what they were doing to help him wake up. While Alessandro was firing questions at him as if he was being cross examined in a witness stand.

What is the prognosis doctor? What is the significance of his reflexes? Was it a sign that his condition was improving?

The worst part was the repetitive questions, it was as if the man wasn’t previously saying anything at all and was muttering incoherent words. ‘Do they want me to be God’ Dr Melendez thought, ‘They want me to say if he’ll live or die, if he’ll recover completely or of he’ll remain as he is’ He was slowly about to lose his mind from all the questions that were being thrown at him.
