Chapter one hundred and forty seven

Finally, they reached a small room in the back of the warehouse. Tony slammed the door shut behind them, his eyes blazing with fury.

“Tell me,” he snarled, his voice echoing off the walls.

Cleopatra cowered, her eyes fixed on the floor. “I-I don’t know what you want me to say,” she stammered.

His face twisted in rage. “Don’t play dumb,” he growled. “I know you know something. Tell me.”

And then, in a flash of insight, He understood. Cleopatra wasn’t just a pawn in this game. She was a key player. “You’re not just following orders, are you?” Tony said, his voice cold and menacing. “You’re in this up to your neck.”

Cleopatra’s eyes flashed with fear. “No,” she whispered. “I swear.”

Tony just laughed in her face. “Don’t lie to me,” he snarled. “I can see it in your eyes. You’re guilty.”

With that, his grip on Cleopatra’s arm tightened. He was going to get the truth out of her, no matter what it took.
