Chapter one hundred and fourteen

The boss smiled, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. That would take care of anyone who got in his way. Now, all he had to do was find out who had attacked one of his base and make them pay.

He sat back down in his chair, his eyes fixed on the phone. He would get to the bottom of this, no matter what it took. As he waited for his men to arrive, he couldn’t help but think about the attack on his base. Who could have done such a thing? And why?

He had no answers, but he was determined to find out. He would leave no stone unturned, no lead unexplored. He would find out who had attacked his base, and he would make them pay. Dearly.

The phone on his desk rang, and he picked it up, his voice cold and deadly. “Yes?” He looked at the bodies laying in the room with indifference.

“Sir, we’ve found something,” one of his men said, his voice hesitant. “It’s a lead on the attack.”

The boss’s eyes narrowed. “What is it?”
