He could manipulate him, use him to get to Elena. The man began to laugh, a cold, mirthless sound. He believed that he was going to win, that he was going to get what he wanted. He turned and walked paced around the room, leaving the bodies behind. He had no use for them now, no use for anything except Elena.

The city outside was about to become a battleground, a playground for his twisted desires. And Elena was the prize he sought, the ultimate trophy in his game of death.
