Chapter one hundred and seven

She was a strong, independent woman, and she wouldn’t let anyone threaten that. As they approached her car, Elena saw a figure standing outside. It was the man from the café, his eyes fixed on her with an unnerving intensity.

Elena’s heart raced with fear, but Nathan and her bodyguards were quick to react. They surrounded her, forming a protective barrier between her and the man.

“You need to leave,” Nathan said to the man, his voice firm. “Now.”

The man didn’t move, his eyes still fixed on Elena. “I just want to talk to her,” he said, his voice low and menacing.

Elena’s bodyguards stepped forward, their faces firm. “I’m afraid that’s not possible,” one of them said. “Leave now, or we’ll have to call the police.”

The man’s eyes narrowed, but he didn’t move. Elena could see the tension in his body, and she knew he was dangerous. “But I really want to talk to her!” The man was unyielding.
