Chapter one hundred and seventy six

He felt that it was too soon for him to battle after absorbing the starheart but he did it anyway. As he sat there to meditate, Rhys felt a strange sensation wash over him. The starheart’s power, which had fueled his battle, was now fading away.

With a burst of strength, Rhys stood up, his eyes locked on the woman’s defeated form. He knew he had won, but he also knew that this was far from over. The woman’s group would not take kindly to her defeat, and Rhys would have to be prepared to face them once again.
