Chapter one hundred and thirty one

He thought back to all the times his uncle had lectured him about responsibility and integrity, and a bitter laugh escaped his lips. The hypocrisy was staggering. As he read on, his laptop caught his eye. He had been monitoring his uncle’s activities, and the footage he had obtained was damning. There, on the screen, was his uncle meeting with a suspicious individual, handing over sensitive information and company secrets like they were candy.

Rhys’s anger boiled over, and he slammed his fist on the desk. How could his uncle betray the company like this? He stood up, his mind racing with thoughts of confrontation. He had to confront his uncle again, had to make him pay for his treachery.
