But she was a bit persistent as she stepped in front of him, her eyes locked on his. “Oh, no, no, no,” she said, her voice playful. “You’re not going to get away from me that easily. My name is Cleopatra, and I’m here to make your night unforgettable.”

Rhys was uncomfortable with the situation, but he tried to be polite. “I’m Rhys,” he said, his voice firm. “And I’m here to meet someone.” He signed the bodyguards who were approaching him to stop.

Cleopatra pouted, her full lips jutting out in a sulk. “Ah, how boring,” she said. “You’re here to meet someone? How trite. How mundane.”

Rhys raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. “I’m afraid I don’t know what you want from me,” he said. “But I’m not interested in whatever it is you’re offering.”

Cleopatra laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “Oh, sir,” she said. “You’re so serious. So uptight. I can tell you need a little loosening up.”
