Chapter 5- Heaven Defying Void Cultivation Manual

According to the information I received The GATE was not just a game that a genius was able to make due to a sudden burst of inspiration but another planet in another universe that was accessed by the game pod which created a replica of the person in it, so the actual person would not die but a small fraction of his conscience which operates the replica might get destroyed.

This was quite shocking to me who thought the world was artificially constructed. No wonder it felt so realistic and you could feel all 5 senses.

[Do you want to activate your random rare cultivation lottery, a piece of advice from Kronos would be to activate the lottery in a private place free of people.]

With this influx of information, I almost forgot about the cultivation manual. I thought ‘I better run home quickly since it’s not far from here.’

A few minutes later                                                  

‘Kronos activate the lottery.’

In my mind ‘I saw a large lottery wheel in my mind with various names I had never heard before but this was surprising since I had particularly memorized all the available cultivation manuals’ names.  This means that these manuals are not from Earth but from somewhere else with intelligent life forms.’ While I was thinking about this mystery, I heard Kronos notification from Kronos

 ‘The name gave just how powerful the manual is but how I can access the manual?’

‘Can I absorb it and write it down for somebody to read?’

Then I chose to absorb it and after the thought was heard by Kronos, I felt intense pain in my head and countless tsunamis of information filled my head. Finally, I lost conscience of my body and woke up after fully absorbing Kronos’s information.

 I thought ‘This cultivation was OP and I also got to know more about the ‘mana’ in our world too. The mana that had suddenly appeared on planet earth decades ago was due to a leak in space far away. The mana that managed to reach earth was too weak and impure but this cultivation method allows a person to directly absorb from the void which had purer mana than the mana that existed in space.’

I was eager to test this out but I had to cook food for my sister and the pod would arrive any moment now. Ding… Ding… and there it is, I thought ‘the delivery is very fast these days.’ I ran to open the door to find several people carrying the pod inside the house and on my request, they installed it in my room but I could not use it still since I had to cook food for my sister before she comes home from school. I went into the kitchen and started cooking the food

A few minutes later

After eating some food and keeping some for my sister, I checked the time. I thought ‘There were still around 2 hrs till the server will officially open. So, I can finally use this cultivation manual that I got from Kronos. According to this cultivation manual, I should create a circuit in my body which would allow me to use mana.’

I decided to first put a reminder in my phone 5 minutes before the server would open just in case. I then followed the instructions and started carving pathways inside my body along the nerves and veins which act as a transport and as a medium to my mana. After sweating a lot and panting a lot, I managed to finally carve my mana pathways and just in time to hear my alarm ring. I quickly had a bath to get rid of the dirt that was released from my body due to me pushing all the dirt out to make the mana pathways.

When I finished changing my dress, there was only 1 minute remaining till the server opens. I quickly got onto the game pod and activated the machine to enter the game.
