Time passed quickly.

Three years later.

~Supreme Military Corps~

A young, handsome man with a cold expression could be seen dressed in a gallant military uniform with so many stars on it.

He has shoulder length black hair and cold blue eyes, and also his body looked really strong despite not being that muscular.

"Supreme General William, we will miss you!"

"The dragon division pays deep respect to the Supreme General William."

"The golden falcon pays deep respect to the supreme General."

"The hell racers corps pay deepest respect to you, great sir."

"........"

"........" Different departments and forces of the supreme military corps sent out their respects to their almighty superior.

More than one hundred high ranking soldiers of the Supreme Military Corps saluted.

Most of them had tears in their eyes. The supreme general is leaving!

William looked at the soldiers with a smile on his face.

"I might be leaving, but my heart and soul will always belong to the supreme military courts. I pray we continue to grow without hindrance." William quoted as he waved his hand out to everyone.

This quote was the exact quote, his master, the supreme hellcat, used when he retired from the supreme Military corps.

Standing beside William was his personal assistant, Bruce.

"Bruce, you can go back now and take care of stuff here." He said to Bruce with a smile, he had considered him as a half brother and loyal subordinate.

"No, I can't do. I'll accompany you wherever you go sire." Bruce rejected his command politely.

William could only shake his head. Bruce has been like this since the day he saved him from the point of death during a war that took the lives of millions of soldiers in a bloody war.

William and Bruce got into the helicopter and bade their final farewell to the soldiers, who cried their hearts out.

...

Liveton City general heliport.

A beautiful and very expensive helicopter landed.

Two young men walked out of it, William and Bruce.

William and Bruce wore a military hat that covered half of their faces, which prevented others from seeing their faces except for a closer and clearer look at them.

"I can finally be with Catherine again." William smiled sweetly as he recalled the face of his beautiful wife.

At that moment, ten expensive cars drove towards them.

The doors opened, and several men dressed in suits walked out of them.

"Supreme general, Our Golden Stake family wants to offer you accommodation and a 30% share of our company, and other benefits will follow after that."

"Supreme general, I'm representing the Western Platinum conglomerates. We offer our biggest welcome, and we are ready to gift you.."

"Great sir..."

"......"

So many of them spoke at the same time, causing quite a scene in the heliport that got the attention of everyone.

So many big men arriving in their helicopters were shocked at the massive crowd of top families and business groups.

"Who is that man, and why are so many companies offering him shares and estate like he is some kind of God?" One billionaire asked his pilot with confusion written on his face.

"Sire, that is the supreme dragon. He has fought so many wars and gone on missions beyond human capabilities, and he won all of them without stress. He is the legend himself, too bad he doesn't want to publicize, if not, he might even rival the presidents in terms of fame and followers." The pilot explained this in shock when he saw the helicopter that the two came down from.

"Wait, is he truly the dragon demon general? I have heard of him. Hold up, find a helipad to land, I need to offer him my own share as well, such a man in my company means I'm not going to lack anything and might even benefit a lot through his wide fame and connections everywhere." "Moreover, I have never met the legendary supreme general."

Meanwhile, William stared coldly at all these representatives.

He could remember that three years ago, at this same time, he had offered to work for them, but they threw him out, saying that he needed connections in order to be employed.

William has changed a lot; none of the people there could remember that he was that trashy young man of that year they rejected, not even a slight remembrance of his self back then could be detected on him.

Within few minutes of his arrival, the place became crowded, filled with expensive cars and big top men of the country.

Snap! Snap! Snap!

Flash of light also filled the place, as clicks of camera could be heard.

Bruce looked at William and asked, "What should I do to them?"

"Send them away, I don't like noise." William responded calmly.

Bruce nodded his head and turned to the men in suit.

"Go away, shuu, shuu!" "Get far from here this instant!" Bruce waved his hands at them as though he was chasing some birds away.

"You are his guard, right. Please give us a chance to speak with him and we will reward you with ten million dollar."

"My golden stake will offer you one hundred bars of top quality gold."

They wanted to bribe Bruce as they tried to negotiate with him.

"Scram from here before I lose my cool!!" Bruce was infuriated at their corrupted nation.

Each man went to his car disappointed and left immediately.

"Come with me, let's go and get some new clothes, we can't go around walking in our uniforms, it will draw so many unwanted attentions." William said as he made his way towards one of the big boutiques available near there.

"Sire.. please let me go for you, a man of your standard shouldn't be working when you have me with you." Bruce complained.

"Haha, that's funny but no, let's go together."

William and Bruce got to the boutique, every employee there was super respective, most of them even went as far as bowing their heads when speaking with William.

Even Bruce was treated with that much respect, even though he was just a brigadier general.

The soldiers in the supreme army are unlike the normal soldiers, they are far superior in everything, including authority.

William and Bruce walked out of the boutique in brand new clothes. The clothes weren't that fancy; to be honest, the clothes they wore were the most plain looking. The two now look like ordinary people.

At first glance, one might even mistake them for a simple employee, coupled with how they were dressed.

Suddenly, an expensive car worth millions of dollars pulled up in front of the two.

The door automatically opened, granting access to William and Bruce.

The two entered the car, which was filled with a refreshing fragrance.

Behind the wheel, there was a young man with a huge smile on his face. "Good day, sir; it's a privilege to see you in person," he greeted in an extremely respectful manner.

"What is your name?" William emotionlessly asked with his eyes half shut.

"Henry sir," he answered without waste of time.

"Henry, focus on the driving. Stop talking." William wasn't interested in whatever the man was about to say.

Henry didn't continue to talk as he concentrated on what he was doing as commanded. He doesn't dare anger such a man of such powerful calibre.

William couldn't help but smile. 'Back then, everyone didn't even want to have anything to associate with me except for Catherine, but now the reverse is the case.'

.....

William opened his eyes and turned to face Bruce, who was sitting at his left side.

"I want you to shut down every bit of news about me that will spread around the place. I don't want any leakage of what happened here," he calmly said to Bruce.

"Supreme general, consider it done." Bruce responded with his head slightly bow in respect.

"Don't address me with general, better still address me with my name," William smiled as he told him.

"But sire...."

"No but, understood?"

"Yes sire"

Bruce took out his phone and dialled a number that connected with the other end immediately. "I want you to block any news of master, even the tiniest details of it," he said, speaking into the phone with a commanding tone.

"We are on it, and it will be done in the next minute." From the other end came the obedient voice of the unknown person.

Bruce hung up the call without any more words.

He sat very still, his mind working quickly as he stared at the screen with strong interest. On the TV, the news talked about Catherine. The report said that Catherine had been thrown out of the Kensington family. Thomas watched every detail carefully. He did not miss a single moment of the report. The headline on the screen made him nod slowly with satisfaction over what had happened to her. Thomas reached for his glass cup and took a slow sip of wine. His voice broke the silence as he spoke in a low tone. "Good one," he said with a smirk. He repeated softly, "You think chasing her out of the family will make us change our mind about your family. Well done." Every word was spoken clearly as he enjoyed the t
