Chapter 42: Unexpected invitation

Bruce opened the big book, hoping to see interesting stuff written or images on it, but to his disappointment, the pages were blank.

Flipping through the pages, all were blank without a single word.

Observing the strange book, Bruce was confused about the book. The only thing about the book was the weird drawing on the thick book cover.

"What the heck?" Bruce frown. "What is the use of the book? Truly mysterious."

"I don't know anything about the book; no use," William answered. "A strange and mysterious book"

Bruce gave William an eye sign of what-are-you-saying.

"Come on, bro, don't look at me that way," William said, noticing the eye sign. "Sincerely, I don't know anything about that book."

"What do you mean that you don't know? Is it not yours?" Bruce asked with his eyes on William.

William breathed down, placing his hand on the back of his head and scratching his head childishly. "It's not mine; it was given to me by master before his disappearance," William quickly explai
