Alex laid on his bed for the rest of the day, busily pressing on his phone. He got bored of pressing his phone so he decided to keep himself busy with movies. He had everything he needed, but Alex's mind wasn't with him, he was thinking about how the meeting would go the following day.

He was curious about how things would be and turned out. After all, he has never been to a grand meeting before, to talk of one that involves the elite of different companies.

He didn't want to think of Jane, but for some reason he couldn't help it. She used to be everything special to him, the very woman he could risk his life for. The same person who made him despise his shame and the insults he faced from people just because he wanted to make her happy.
