Franklin pushed the door open and was surprised to find Mr. Russell, the acting CEO, waiting for him in the office. He had been expecting Franklin's arrival.
Walking inside, Franklin closed the door behind him and looked around with satisfaction. The office was furnished just the way he liked it â simple yet elegant.
Mr. Russell noticed the pleased expression on Franklin's face and smiled, saying, âThis is the document, please sign in your signature."
Nodding in agreement, Franklin accepted the documents handed to him by Mr. Russell. Sitting down, he carefully read through each line before confidently signing them with a smirk.
"Congratulations, young master. You're now the CEO of Miles Empire," Mr. Russell congratulated him.
"Thank you," Franklin replied gratefully.
Reflecting on his previous attempts to convince Franklin to take over the company, Mr. Russell felt relieved that Franklin had finally agreed.
He immediately sent an email to the management team, introducing Franklin as the new CEO and attaching a photo of him for reference.
"Is there anything else I need to do?" Franklin asked as he handed the documents back to Mr. Russell.
"No, why?" Mr. Russell responded.
"I need to get some new clothes. Wearing a delivery uniform isn't really ideal on occasions like this. I need to change," Franklin explained. Then, realizing he doesn't have a bank card, he added, âLet me have my debit card."
Mr. Russell retrieved a VVIP bank card from the drawer and handed it to him, saying, âWe got a customized card for you at your father's request.â
"Thanks," Franklin said, rising from his seat. He was ready to leave. This week could be considered a free week for him since he would resume his duties as the CEO after his convocation.
Mr. Russell pressed a button on the desk. Within moments, several security agents in black suits and black glasses entered the CEO's office.
Bowing respectfully, they approached Franklin. "We are at your service, young master," they said in unison.
Franklin was taken aback by their display of respect. He hadn't expected such a formal reception. Nevertheless, he nodded in acknowledgment, feeling a sense of authority wash over him.
"Thank you," he replied.
"We're here to keep you safe, young master," Conor, head of the security agents assured him.
Mr. Russell addressed the agents, "Please accompany our new CEO, and ensure his safety at all times."
The security agents nodded. "Yes, Mr. Russell," they replied in unison.
With that, Franklin led the way out of the office, followed closely by the security team who maintained a protective perimeter around him as they exited.
The security team accompanied Franklin to the elevator. They walked beside him, showing respect for the new CEO.
As they reached the elevator, Franklin pressed the button to call it. The doors opened, and he stepped inside, while his personal security entered a different elevator.
With the security agents by his side, Franklin felt empowered. As the new CEO of Miles Empire. There were a few things that needed changing, and he was going to fix them. It was his way now, not his father's.

While Franklin was in the office, the junior staff and the guards were still waiting for his return when the General Manager, Ms. Deborah, approached them with concern and confusion. She couldn't understand why they were gathered there instead of being at their workstations.
"What's going on here?" Ms. Deborah addressed the workers.
"Good day, Ms. Deborah," Reina greeted nervously. "We were working when a guy in a delivery uniform walked past us. He said he wasn't here to deliver food, and when we tried to stop him, he was stubborn. I called the guards to arrest him, but he ran into the elevator. We're waiting for him to come out," she explained, pointing at the elevator.
The other workers chimed in. "We're not even sure if he really is a delivery guy. Maybe he just pretended to be one," said Daniel.
"Maybe he's a thief, coming to steal from our company,â Alex suggested.
"Or most likely he's a crazy person who escaped from the mental hospital," added Nancy.
"And you all let him leave? Did you know that the new CEO is arriving today? What will he say when he finds out? That a random guy broke in and none of you could stop him? It'll be his first day, and this is what you'll present? How incompetent!" Ms. Deborah scolded furiously.
"We're sorry, Ms. Deborah," they apologized.
"Save it until you get him arrested." She bashed and walked away from the scene.
Just then, the elevator beeped and moved. "He must be in that elevator," Sarah remarked.
They watched as the elevator stopped, and Franklin bounced out with the security experts following behind him.
Reina sniggered and went forward to slap Franklin, thinking he had been arrested by the security team.
"How dare you? This isn't a place where you can just enter and wander around. This isn't your regular delivery spot.â
Franklin was already losing his patience. He wanted to slap her back, but he restrained himself and signaled his personal security to calm down.
"You must be a psycho. No sane person would act like you. Who do you think you are?" Nancy berated angrily.
âWhere did they get such disrespectful people from? They are not even from a first-class family, nor do they hold any title in the company, ordinary junior staff!â he thought, mentally facepalming himself.
"You really want to know who I am? I am the new CEO of this company!" Franklin asserted with authority. The receptionist's actions puzzled him.
"If you are the CEO of this company man, then I am the President of this country," Daniel mocked, causing everyone present to laugh.
That was more than embarrassing. They had gone too far. They had no right to bully anyone, and it was against the company's rules.
Just as Reina was about to take further action, she heard a voice that made her freeze. âHow dare you touch the new CEO!"
Everyone turned around in surprise!
Ms. Deborah had hurried to get back to the scene but stopped to check her phone, which had just beeped, indicating a message. It was an email informing her about the new CEO's arrival with a short description of, and the photo of Franklin Miles attached to it.Ms. Deborah clicked it open, and it showed his picture in full. Her heart sank when she saw his picture. He must be the delivery guy the junior staff were talking about. "This is worse than I thought," she said, realizing the severity of the situation. She needed to stop them from causing any further problems. The junior staff turned to tell Ms. Deborah that he was the man they were looking for. "Miss! look, it's the delivery guy we were telling you about.""Yeah, it's him, the delivery guy causing all the fuss."Instead, they met what seemed to be the shock of their life. It was Ms. Deborah with a phone in her hand, showing them the picture of the person Reina had just slapped.Reina walked closer to be sure she was not dreamin
The bank was a sight to behold, with its looming height towering towards the sky. Even the security guards were dressed in suits, looking more like bodyguards for celebrities than ordinary bank employees.Franklin approached the entrance, where a man with a black outfit stood behind the door. He looked him up and down, his eyes narrowing at the sight of his uniform.âWhat are you doing?" He asked in a tone that suggested he didn't think he belonged there."I need to make a verification," Franklin said confidently despite the looks he was getting from the man and the others.âGo inside and join the line?" the man said.Franklin walked into the grandiose bank, his delivery uniform sticking out like a sore thumb among the well-dressed clientele. He was out of place, but he was here for business and wasn't going to let his attire deter him.Geschäftskredit Bank was a prestigious institution, well-known for catering to the rich and powerful. Shock was evident on the faces of the bank's patrons and the workers. They thought the individual before them was merely a delivery person. But it appears that whoever this guy was, he must be from a wealthy family. The teller found herself in a state of panic. Seeing how the manager showed so much respect to an ordinary delivery guy! "Sir, may I inquire why such respect is shown to a delivery person?" she politely asked.Receiving no response from the manager, she continued. âSir, he is just an ordinary delivery guy who lost his way." Instead of a reply, the manager's hand struck her cheek hard. "Do you know who this man is?" he demanded. With a shake of her head, she responded âNo!âThe manager swiftly produced Franklin's Bank ID card and presented it to her. Upon examining the card, she was taken aback. It belonged to a senior VVIP client with a staggering 100,000,000,000â dollar account balance. At first, she suspected he must have stolen it until she recognized Franklin's photo
The man who stepped out of the car was just coming back from the club With his babe, more like his sex partner. He was steering the wheel at a high velocity, while the speakers in the car blared with music. He had been kissing at intervals while driving which made him run out of control and had knocked Franklin down."Oops," the girl in the car exclaimed, though her tone lacked any real concern. He could have just driven past, but he wanted to have fun. He came out of his car to meet Franklin, who was just getting up from the floor.Franklin spun to face him, about to say something, but he didn't get the chance as the guy had already started shouting, Franklin just looked at him, muddied."Watch where you are going, you moron. Now, look, you hit my car with that thing. Do you know how much this car is worth? You, and your assets--if you have any, are not worth this expensive car," the man spouted, his voice full of anger.Franklin was very sure he did not crash into his car; it was the
The road safety officials lowered their heads and expressed regret. "I'm sorry, sir," one of them said."I'm sorry," the other officials echoed. They did not want to encounter the prospect of becoming involved with The Howards. They were aware of the experiences others had had with The Howards, and they most definitely did not want to go through what they had.One of the officials scowled as he turned to face Franklin. "Young man, you must pay for the damages you caused," he declared."What damage? You cannot ask me to pay until after you have verified that there is damage. It was he who struck me and caused me to fall. Why should I make any payments at all? He is required by law to pay me back for breaking my scooter." Franklin replied."You better obey, or I might arrest you," the other official said.Franklin grinned. "Do you believe that I am afraid of the two of you? Are you certain you don't want the damages to be confirmed?"Confused by his audacity, one of the officials asked.
The butler had made a phone call to the company and requested assistance after receiving a call from Franklin. He was clearly frightened of Franklin's demeanor.Aware of Franklin's intense anger, the butler felt that he needed to find a way for Franklin to release it. Having been with Franklin since his childhood, the butler knew a great deal about him.Franklin had a tendency to have a quick temper, but he had learned to control it after a traumatic incident.Franklin had become furious with a classmate who had poured water on his book and refused to apologize. Franklin rode his scooter to the largest boutique in Manchester which was primarily frequented by the upper class family.Only a select few from the lower class were permitted to work there in roles such as cleaners, receptionists, or security officers. The boutique bustled with people dressed in luxurious attire as they entered and exited the premises.Franklin entered and asked, "Which way is the male section?"The receptionist kindly informed him that it was on the fifth floor and directed him to the elevator on the left.He acknowledged this and wondered why she was nice to him despite his outfit. If only other workers could be like her.He walked away with his cart, heading towards the elevator while disregarding the curious looks he received. Some of the workers at the desk couldn't help but comment on his appearance, with one exclaiming, "He is so attractive!"Another expressed envy at the opportunity to interact with him, while a third admired his voice and likened him to a pri
Inside the mall, the ladies were still in disbelief over what had just happened in front of them."What did you do to the man that made him give us such an amount of money?" one of them inquired from the receptionist. She was also the same lady who wanted to fit in and had claimed that Franklin was just a dirty delivery guy.Grinning, the receptionist turned to face her. "kindness! Look, you shouldn't treat someone like trash simply because they are poor. Just take a peek at you. You and them are the same. He is a delivery guy, and you are a cleaner. That is the only distinction. Naturally, under disguise."The other woman became enraged at the way she emphasized her final words. "But why would he disguise as a delivery guy?""Did you guys see the way he embarrassed that disrespectful lady? I hope she learns her lesson." Another person pointed out."Whatever! Get back to work now, else I will report all of you to the manager." The cashier threatened. The receptionist returned to her ta
