As soon as Richmond Wright was bailed from house arrest, one of his plans was to release his most loyal man, Big Joe. And so he made it a point to visit him today in prison.

The heavy clang of the prison gates closing could be heard from a distance as Richmond stepped inside.

He adjusted his collar and glanced at the guards. His shoes tapped lightly against the cold floor as they led him to the visitor’s area. Richmond’s face was calm, but his sharp eyes scanned every corner.

One of the guards stopped by a table. “He’ll be here in a minute,” the guard said gruffly.

Richmond nodded, sitting down and relaxing back in the chair. His fingers thumped quietly on the metal table, in front of him.

The door on the other side opened, and Big Joe walked in, shackles on his wrists and ankles. His face was sad, but when he saw Richmond, a small smirk appeared.

“Well, well,” Big Joe said as he sat down. “Look who decided to show up.”
