Caution

Judas leaned in, his voice barely above a whisper. “Matthew, this is a perfect opportunity to kidnap him, don’t you think so?” His eyes locked onto Stephen, his gaze piercing.

Matthew’s brow furrowed, hesitation etched on his face. “Is it not too fast to do this?” he asked, his voice laced with caution.

Judas’s expression turned resolute. “There’s nothing fast about this, Matthew. We have to be swift. Who knows if he’s been sent to trail us?” His words dripped with urgency.

Matthew’s gaze darted around the dimly lit room, the soft music and laughter of patrons contrasting with their sinister plan.

“You’re right,” Matthew agreed, his voice firm. “We can’t let him compromise our plan.”

Judas nodded, his eyes never leaving Stephen. “Let’s pretend we didn’t see him. Act naturally.”

Matthew nodded, his eyes locked onto Judas. They both turned back to the music, masking their intentions behind neutral expressions.
