"Listen... why don't you put the gun down, so we can talk?" The gentleman's voice cut through the tension, his words measured and calm. Tyler's grip on the pistol tightened, his finger hovering over the trigger. He didn't want to talk, didn't want to listen. He just wanted to get out of there, to escape the danger that seemed to be closing in around him.
